With the vigilantes gone and the portal closed, Alanor sat as he waited for the warriors of Udrad to come for him. He could smell their fear even from where he sat and it was fulfilling. 

Funny how they were scared shitless of him and the only thing he was doing at the moment was to sit there and wait for them. They could take him wherever the fuck they wanted to, but would they even manage it.

"Get up," Zhurielle said to Alanor who didn't even say a word to object to Zhurielle's soft command. 

Instead, the young Wynter got up in silence, like he was already bored from sitting there. He was happy that Unar was the king and it seemed like a part of his brain had refused to process the fact that his mate had betrayed his trust. 

Alanor was numb to everything right now and he was in his most deadly state, even worse than when he was without his humanity.
