Haru
I was still upset with Aiden and Mason when the knock came at the door.
“Haru?” It was Reo. “Can I come in?”
I sighed. “Yeah.”
I pulled myself up and sat, resting my back against the headboard of the bed as Reo opened the door and then walked into the room. He came to sit on the side of the bed and reached out to ruffle my hair.
“You okay?” When I didn’t answer him, he said, “Want to confide in your brother?”
I shook my head. “There’s nothing to confide.”
Reo chuckled. “It’s not nothing. You didn’t come down for dinner, and you’ve been withdrawn in the last two weeks. It is about Noah? And now Aiden?”
I cast my eyes downward. “I don’t want to talk about it.”
Reo sighed. “All right. I won’t force you to do anything you don’t want to, but please make up with Aiden, Noah, and Mason soon. They’re going through a lot of shit at the moment, and you being distant to them is not helping.”
