Chương 14: Chapter - 14
Once we were in the office I felt uneasy again I just want to grab her and say that I'm there for her and I'll love her no matter what but I could not make her tensed I just can't make her hate me.
"The reports" she said placing it on my table.
"You can have a seat" I said her. She went and sat on the chair.
"You made all this?" I asked her to try to start the conversation.
"When did you get all the time. I mean you are busy with your university and this job it must be hectic for you" I asked her out of concern.
She looked at me with a blank face but I noticed something today I looked in her eyes and I could see she wanted to ask me a lot of things that's when I realized that her eyes speaks more than her.
"I manage" she replied breaking the eye contact.
"It's good" I said her.
"You want me to add any changes?" She asked me.
"No this will be enough" I replied.
"Okay then" she said getting up from the chair she took the file and was walking towards the door when she stopped and walked near the window through, she could see her office.
Shit.
"This...?" She said.
"What?" I asked making sure she won't get the answer she wants.
"This is my office" she said looking through the
"Yes, It is" I said.
"But I can't see through this window it's dark" she said.
I was simply loving the little conversation we had so I decided stretching it.
"Yeah it's a window from which you can see from one side and not from the other" I said.
"Hmmm...." she said knocking the window.
"You liked it?" I asked her.
"I never saw such a thing before" she said still focused on the window.
"You want to shift to this office?" I asked her.
"No no no oh I'm sorry I was just amused with this thing I have never seen such a thing before I'm sorry" she said apologizing for nothing. Oh, I love her innocence.
"But why do you have here?" She asked.
"To see you" damn shit kill me someone just kill me right now.
She looked at me and this time I could not read her
eyes.
"Oh, I do my work properly you saw it yourself you need not keep an eye on me" she said looking at me.
And I was ready to fall. Oh her eyes she looks so beautiful she had her hair in messy bun she had no makeup like always she wore a dress that covers her body completely she was so tiny so beautiful I so very wanted to hug her and kiss her for the cute little innocent things she has been doing now.
"You are so beautiful" I said.
She looked at me and quickly looked down.
"Okay Snow. That's it I can't so this anymore" I said finally not able to handle it.
"What I didn't get you" she said.
"I can't Snow I can't stay away from you I just can't that's the reason why I made you shift to this office so that I can see you not to keep an eye on you but only to see you. Snow I'm sorry for what happen that day it was my mistake I could not keep myself away from you and how can I if you look this beautiful all the time making me go crazy. Snow please just give me a chance to prove myself please I'll make it up to you I won't push you for anything just take your time but please let be stay around you please I swear I'll never touch you again" I said
it all.
"You don't have to be sorry" she simply replied.
"So, can we take this ahead?" I asked her.
"What?" She asked me again.
"This a clear conversation we had now just the simple talk for some random thing. All I want you is just a little conversation like we had now. Please just talk to me I won't ask for more" I said her I in fact pleaded her.
"I....I don't know I did not understand I'm talking to you right now I that's what you are talking about right" she said oh I so very want to kiss her right now.
Snap out of it jerk. You want her to run from you again.
My inner voice yelled at me. And I shouted.
"No"
"No?" She asked me.
"No not for you it's just the...oh forget it. Snow let me put this Straight. Will you mar.... Will You be my friend" I'm a big-time jerk?
That you are. Seriously .... will you marry me again what Is up with you Vlad stop being a fool...
"Shut up" I said to my inner voice.
That made Snow jump.
"Oh, I'm sorry it's not for you. God I'm losing my senses" I said.
Listening to this she smiled no she laughed she was hiding her laugh in the smile oh God she looks so beautiful when she smiles oh did, I just make her smile. Oh yes, I did make her smile.
"You look more beautiful when you smile" I said.
She quickly erased the smile and looked at me.
"You are confusing me" she said.
"I'm confused myself" I confessed.
"What do you want?" She asked me.
"You" I simply answered.
"That's not possible Vlad" she replied.
I took all the courage and walked towards her made sure I was one step away from her I held her hands in mine which were freezing cold and were tiny and the best part her hands were perfectly fitting in my hands. I so very wanted to kiss them but at the same time did not wanted to scare her again.
"Just let me in Snow" I said her.
She just looked at my hands which held her hands.
"We can be friends at least" I said her still holding her hands.
"But...."
"Just friends nothing more" I said interrupting her.
She just nodded her head looked at me and looked at her hands again.
"Thank you" I said.
And I don't know how long we were like that, but I just love the silence I share with her it's simply perfect.
After what seemed like forever, she tried pulling out her hands, but I caught it tightly.
She did not struggle more, and her hands were still in mine.
"Vlad" she said, and I was lost again my name never sounded so good to me before.
"Vlad someone's at the door" she said.
"Yeah I heard that" I said her.
She pulled her hands and I let go this time.
"Come in “I said.
"Sir everyone is waiting for you" he said.
"Why?" I asked.
"Sir the meeting" he said remaining me of the board meeting I had to attain.
"Oh, I'll be there" I said, and he left.
"So, friends" I asked Snow one last time.
"Okay" she replied.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow from the house as you are having holiday tomorrow" I said and yeah, I had full information about her university schedules.
"How did you know?" She asked me.
"I have my ways" I said.
"But that would not be necessary I'll take a bus" she said.
"Just one time" I said her.
She thought for a while and said
"Okay"
"Great! I have a meeting now I'll see you later" I said and left the office.
I was so happy to have that conversation with her she agreed to come with me tomorrow. This is it all I must do is take things slowly with her. One step at a time. That's how she wants it, I guess.
Oh, how much I love her.
Yeah call me crazy but with this thought I went to attain a meeting.
Snow
What have I done? How did I allow him? What is wrong with me he is not for me he can never be. He deserves much better. And he does not know about me not even a bit. He asked me to be his friend which will end soon once he knows me. But how is he keeping a track on my university schedules. And why is he.
He looked at me like he wants to read me, and I let him do that today for once when he asked me how I managed things. No one ever cared about how I managed to do so many things how I managed to do what I do. No one has cared for me except for Jenny. But he cared even if it was for once he did. I was so close to allow him to read me and know me, but I can't I just can't I don't want him to know me I don't want him around me. I just don't deserve all this.
I don't deserve happiness that's what I have been thought till now. I don't belong here I don't deserve to be happy. How can I be happy when my own parents abandoned me in a trash bin, they did not want me to the extent that they just threw me and got rid of me.
That's what everyone is done to me and that is what even Vlad will do to me once he knows where I come from and what my past is.
I come from a trash bin and he don't deserve me.
