Chương 3: (Ch 3)Father

A man and a woman both dressed in Fancy cloths fit for high ranking nobles, Entered the Royal chambers, followed by at least a dozen servants.

'These people don't know the meaning of moderation do they, either zero or 100, no in-between'

Faith thought while looking at the clearly high ranked Demon Nobles standing in front of both him and Eshir. Eshir was dressed as always in a Elegant dress that very much showed off both her status and beauty, though she only wore it because she thought Faith would want to play with the flowers adorned on it.

Both the Demon nobles went down on one knee seconds after entering the room followed by the servants behind them. Faith could not recognise any of the servants but given how big the castle was and how much of a big deal his mother seemed to be that made sense. Still he couldn't help but further admire how awesome Eshir was.

All of the servants had looks as if they'd just been put between a rock and a hard place, the two demon nobles although they'd entered the room already didn't dare speak unless spoken too. Even given the circumstance of the thing currently heading towards the city and castle of exodus, that would be courting death.

Although Eshir had been thoroughly enraged that her time with Faith had been interrupted she still choose to give them mercy for two reason. One was that the two nobles were among her closest retainers/generals and had to have a good reason, but the other and far more important was the off chance Faith had grown attached to any of them. To be fair none of them had spoken a word or done anything for her son, but they were still the first people he had ever seen apart from her since his birth.

She wouldn't dare do something that could take so much as a friend away from Faith unless it was necessary and right now she deemed that it wasn't. With that in mind she grabbed Faith from where he sat on her bed and brought him with her to the front of the bed, using it as a makeshift thrown before setting Faith on her lap.

The two demon retainers Percis and Ceraph were a little taken aback at her their Ruthless monster of a queen acted with her child. Not only that but they were also surprised at how similar and rather cute their prince Faith Exodus looked. You'd have never guess he was the heir too two royal races of Dark-light, he just looked like a rather strange elf. Yet from their years on the battle field didn't dare let his appearance deceive them.

This was Thee Faith Exodus, son of arguable two of the strongest races of dark-light. Meanwhile in the world of baby demons Faith was just staring at the two fancy looking demons bowing before him in amusement. If he could talk he would have most defiantly blurted out 'YES BOW BEFORE ME AND MY MIGHTY, GLORIOUS PRESENCE YOU UNWORTHY WORMS, BASK IS MY GRACE'. Thankfully for him he couldn't talk

'I guess I really am a dragon, huh. But if I get prideful urges like a dragon why haven't I wanted to go on a rampage yet. Maybe I'm just looking at a book by its cover, demons don't seem that bad, least not Eshir'

He thought not realising he was completely right in assuming demons were evil blood thirsty things. Well kind of. They weren't necessarily evil but they were more prone to acts of aggression and violence then others. Eshir however was without a doubt the 100% definition of a devil she just toned it down for political sakes so she could keep her people in check as well as her self. Although she had only done this so with the plan of eventually using her child a.k.a Faith to destroy all her enemies once he was born.

Quite obviously that plan was out of the window as of now and with it also went Eshir urges for violence. By some weird twist of fate that was very good for the races of good light-dark such as humans and elves, Eshir's "murder urges" and her "motherly instincts" had fused together into what could only be described as destructive urge to love Faith.

Although Eshir had originally worried about it, at this point if Faiths father came to try and take him Eshir would most assuredly have a death match with him. Though she was still conflicted since that could very easily upset Faith.

"Percis, Ceraph, why have you interrupted my time with Faith"

Eshir asked, Eyes gleaming with murderous habits yet to be fully quelled. Percis looked towards Ceraph to answer and in turn Ceraph just gazed back at him. Since the servants weren't the ones at fault here and couldn't open the door even if they wanted to Percis decided to swallow the pill.

"Well Lady Eshir, it seems that rumours of......well it seems rumours have spread too the dragons. As we speak that overgrown liza...… The princes father is on his way and quite angry, I should add"

Percis Finished his report of what happened skipping out the part that Alzreor, the king of dragons, had personally been informed of the rumours about his sons "boot camp" and had furiously made his way to exodus. He'd also skipped out the fact the Alzreor very openly had swore to wipe out all demons on the continent if so much as a single hair on his sons head was harmed. Since Alzreor could actually wipe out a race if he felt like it both Percis and Ceraph, the less battle hungry of her retainers, had decided to bite the bullet and

It turned out funnily enough that dragons seemed to be more maternal then the demons, including Eshir had thought. What they hadn't understood was dragons longevity tied with their power lead them to not have more then one or two children. It was a natural reaction to stop over population, but it also wasn't something dragons could avoid.

This lead dragons as a whole to be far more protective of their children then other races. In fact Alzreor had down played a lot how much he actually cared for Faith, so he wouldn't be used as a hostage against him. Dragons were prideful creatures, but Alzreor was old enough to be far beyond such a petty emotion, at least he thought so. So when he'd learned that a rather young demon had made a name for herself within such a short span of life, he'd had to concede that it was probably about to too have a child.

He was actually ecstatic when Eshir agreed to his request, but had been forced to downplay his care for the yet to be born Faith. In fact he'd tried to act as if he didn't care in the slightest, using his own version of refuse psychology.

So when he'd learned about his sons rumoured "boot camp" that his mother was putting him through, Alzreor the more then ten thousand year old dragon had realised he'd made a terrible mistake. It pained him to think of what his son had been through thanks to that devil of a mother he had, so in haste Alzreor had dropped all his dutys as king of all dragon-kin and rushed to save his son.

Eshir being unaware of any of this simply chalked it off as Alzreor having a fit. What rumours could possible have spread about her and Faith? Was she loving him too much for his liking, making him jealous of her perfect little Faith?

"If he wants to come and throw a fit, then let him. I see no reason to humour him by reacting as he wants. Now if there is nothing else begone with you, its almost time for my sweeties nap" - Eshir said stoutly, leaving no room for arguing.

Hearing this Percis, Ceraph and all the staff were completely shocked. Nap? Sweetie? They thought completely stunned by Eshir acting like a normal mother. Meanwhile Faith being his good old baby self was just sitting on his mother's lap intent on picking up any information about the outside world.

'YES BEGONE WORMS, Ma...…. Damn I really need to get a hold on this whole, being a dragon, thing. Whatever I'm sure I'll get the hang of it by the time I can speak. Sh—'

Unfortunately his inner thoughts were cut short by the castle entire roof leaving the sky exposed to Faith for the first time, without the window blocking his way of course. Faith was now able to gather that they seemed to have at least one sun on this planet, though the moon was still a N/A for him at the moment.

All of the people in the room were far less unfazed then Faith by their castles roof being literally torn off, of course he was confident Eshir could protect him. However unlike Faith these people knew the magical and physically defences put in place that made their base of operations and city for that matter, basically impenetrable. Yet here something had gotten past all Defences of both the city and the castle.

Eshir seemed to be content with simply watching whatever was about to happen unfold, although she did draw her sword an amour from her pocket dimension, ready to fight at a moments notice. When the thing that had destroyed the castle reared its head which was covered in pitch black scales, harder then any metal, the roles where reversed.

Everyone that was scared now seemed far less afraid while Faith was utterly horrified by the sheer size and presence of the thing. It had to be at least as tall as any sky scraper on earth, with pure red eyes and two giant wings at either side.

'Okay I believe in you mom, but that things just ridiculous. It looks like it could take a fat man to the face, then walk it off like a hot snowball. WE ARE ALL SO DEAD'

He thought looking up at his mother too gauge her reaction. Eshir seemed annoyed but not afraid, she'd even put away her sword and armour. In Faith's mind this either meant he wasn't a enemy or Eshir just saw no point in fighting him. The first option calmed his heart, while the latter made it beat harder then ever, both lives included.

The things giant head slowly descended down death staring Eshir before finding Faith still sitting idly on her lap, hugging his mother so he wouldn't fall at the tremor it made. Faith could see that there also seemed to be several other of what he assumed where dragons flying behind this black one, though none of them were even close to its sheer size or presence.

Dragons by nature were a race that knew no stagnation. The older they got, the bigger and more powerful leading to what could easily be considered the strongest race, given time that is. Faith looked at the dragon infront of him trying to guess what it was doing here. A second later the dragon in front of them seemed to disappear, replaced by a man that now stood merely metres away from Eshir and Faith on the castle floors.

'I know dragons are meant to be handsome, but what the fuck. This dude is like a walking greek god in the flesh. If I'm half dragon I should at least look something like this guy or whatever my dad looks like, right?'

Faith thought gaining even more pride in his dragon half then he should have. What he wasn't aware of however was due to the mix in royal demon and dragon blood instead of normal, Faith wasn't a combination of the two but rather simply both at the same time. He was a full blooded royal dragon and a full blooded royal demon, something neither of his parents had even expected.

The man that had replaced the Dragon as Faith said was far too handsome for a normal man. His face was perfect and his black hair fell in place all exactly where it should. He looked for the most part like a human, adorned in a suit that would put kings to shame, but there was one problem with his visage. His eyes stilled glowed in a red light and their slit like pupils made it all to obvious that this man was far from normal.
