Chương 51: How Annoying

Within seconds, Diluc was in Byrgenwerth. The place was infected with creepy insect creatures with many eyes, pus oozing from their bodies and long mouths that they could use to puncture you and eat your insides.

Diluc didn't want to die from having his intestines slurped up like spaghetti. Therefore, he simply ran into the massive mansion in the middle of Byrgenwerth where the mad scholars were created and encouraged to become even more mad.

There were a couple of insects that tried to squeeze through the door and continue pursuing, however, they weren't able to beat Diluc's quicksilver bullets that parried them whenever they tried to lunge through.

After killing the mobs, Diluc rose the stairs to come face-to-face with perhaps his biggest enemy in the original game, right after the Orphan of Kos.

This, of course, was the Choir Hunter. They use a Threaded Cane that does far too much damage with spells that will almost certainly one-shot you. The only plausible strategy was to get extremely close as soon as possible and overwhelm them before they can kill you in a singular attack.

Therefore, that's what Diluc did. He instantly attacked with his saw cleaver and infinitely used his transformation attack to stagger the hunter as much as possible. Thankfully, although it didn't actually stagger her, it did do mass amounts of damage.

After being seriously wounded, the Choir Hunter used Augus of Ebrietas to summon some tentacles in order to attack Diluc. He sidestepped to the right; however, the tentacles followed him and pierced his chest.

Even spells have become more lethal than in the game.

After taking the attack and watching his blood spill all over the wooden boards, Diluc didn't hesitate to use this opportunity to counter-attack.

Thankfully, the Choir Hunter was strong, not intelligent. It took the full force of a +10 Saw Cleaver to the neck; it took little to no effort to decapitate them completely.

Diluc was surprised to see how easy it was to get rid of his previous strongest hunter nemesis. But then again, his joy didn't last long, it's not like the Choir Hunter was a boss or anything.

Therefore, Diluc climbed the ladder of the building and found the key he needed to face Rom.

However, before that, he tested a bug that was in Bloodborne that he sure would work. He slew Wilhelm almost as they exchanged glances.

He then ran away, not picking up the level 3 eye rune that Wilhelm dropped as a reward. Diluc found his way back to the big pig before the Shadows of Yharnam fight. He ran from one side of the swamp to the other a couple of times, only to run all the way back to Wilhelm's corpse.

And sure enough, after he picked up the first eye rune, there were 2 more underneath. Bugs that were present in the game could be exploited by Diluc. As good as Bloodborne was as a game, there were many ways to exploit it.

A couple of blood echo duplication methods, some boss skips and some very exploitable cheese strategies that abuse the A.I. to win. Although he wasn't sure exploiting the A.I. would be possible, as there was no A.I. anymore, it was still something he'd need to test out.

Unfortunately, he didn't know any bugs or exploits for Dark Souls so he didn't even find out about this until now.

Regardless, the knowledge of ymfah would allow Diluc to rise to prominence in the future.

And that was the end of his progress in Bloodborne. The 3 eyes runes he obtained would be very useful in the future.

It was only a week or so until the start of U.A. Momo and Izuku were training their hearts out in order to not fall behind the rest of the class even though they were most definitely stronger than most of them.

Mitsuki also disappeared for a while. Most likely dealing with family issues or going to see Katsuki. Although he is an annoying piece of garbage, he's still her son.

Regardless, there wasn't much for Diluc or the Dark Souls girls to do. There were no random criminals that picked fights with them, there were no rogue heroes that were making deals with villains in order to increase their fame and popularity (that they came across anyway).

Such a boring life is one that Diluc most certainly loved, there was nothing better than being able to sleep in knowing that your walls won't be destroyed by some random villain with a superiority complex.

It was on such an occasion that Diluc went for a walk. As we all know, there is absolutely nothing going to happen if he goes for a walk. It's not like the author is making multiple sentences talking about it and not putting it as a throwaway sentence or something like that. Therefore, there is no possibility of a couple of dozen villains popping out of an alleyway in order to attack Diluc.

And then a couple dozen villains popped out of the alleyway like clowns out of a clown car.

In what was quite obviously a planned attack, one of the bastards appeared behind Diluc and slashed down with a dagger.

"That bounty is mine!" He laughed.

Unfortunately, that bounty was not his. With a simple kick from Dilic, the villain went flying into a building, getting multiple slashes from shattered glass.

Obviously, bystanders didn't call the police, only opting to watch as if it was a normal hero v villain clash.

'Maybe the villains have a point.' Diluc realized after seeing the civilian's reaction to someone getting attacked by dozens. It's truly a wonder that an era like this can create men like All Might or Izuku. And it's very obvious why an era like this can create people like Dabi or Himiko.

"50 grand, here I come!" Another villain shouted while throwing wind blades towards Diluc.

'How loose-lipped are these idiots? They've already told me why and how much they're attacking me for. It'd be nice if they just so happened to shout who put the bounty out.' Diluc thought to himself.

Unfortunately, there was no more comedic timing, although they were stupid, they weren't stupid enough to blab about their employer.

The result was still the same, though. All of them became intimate with the cold, hard concrete as their heads were forcibly shoved into it. The lucky ones were unharmed because of their quirks, the unlucky ones would have permanent neck, head and spine issues for the rest of their lives.

As soon as the fight was concluded, multiple heroes arrived on the scene and immediately began berating Diluc.

"Do you have any idea how much damage you've caused? You shouldn't even be using your quirk as a student!" A 'hero' yelled.

'Maybe I should be a villain.' Diluc thought as he teleported away from the crime scene, leaving the crime scene behind him.
