Elara nodded, pivoting around the drake with quick, light steps. She fired an arrow into the back of its leg, causing it to stumble, but the beast's sheer size made it difficult to bring down alone. As the drake lunged again, she conjured a flash of light, blinding the creature momentarily.

That gave Arpious the opening she needed. She closed the distance in a blur, her speed unmatched. As the drake flailed blindly, she leaped into the air, her sword raised high. With a fierce cry, she brought the blade down with both hands, driving it deep into the drake's skull. The light magic from Elara's flash still lingered, burning at the drake's eyes, further weakening it.

The drake collapsed under the weight of the combined assault, its body hitting the ground with a resounding thud.
