Chương 58: White Swordsman 5

Qi Yuan gently stabbed the dagger onto Xuan Li's palm and unlike last time, the dagger managed to pierce through his skin. It was clear that Qi Yuan infusing his Qi strengthened the dagger's sharpness, allowing it to damage Li's strange body.

Li groaned with pain and he wanted to move away but it seemed Qi Yuan predicted the outcome as for some reason, Li couldn't move an inch of his body even if he wanted to.

Qi Yuan began to cut across his palm, causing Li to groan with more pain since being cut by anything would naturally cause alot of pain.

A dim light red glow was emitting through the cut and bright red blood began to drip out of it.

"Your blood glows? Interesting." Qi Yuan commented.

Li himself was surprised that his blood was glowing! In the past, even if he did bleed for a short while, his blood wasn't glowing at all. He could have missed it as he rarely actually bled but when he faced Flav, his whole body was destroyed horribly to the point of being able to see his organs yet even Flav never mentioned anything about glowing blood.

As the blood began to release, Qi Yuan tilted Li's palm sideways, allowing gravity to force the blood to drip downwards, away from his palm.

The blood began to flow down and as it left his palm, Qi Yuan brought out a glass jar to store the dripping blood. The two were silent while waiting to see when Li's body would start healing. Li knows anti healing is helpful against his body, but since Qi Yuan is hurting him with the intent to kill, he expects his body to surpass the anti healing effect sooner or later. Qi Yuan also guessed that the anti healing will probably last for a short while but he was okay with that since he can just constantly cut Li everytime he heals!

*drip*

The jar began to fill up at a rapid pace since Li had a large cut across his palm, allowing a lot of blood flow out.

However, after it was filled only a sixth of the Jar, Li's body began to rapidly heal his wound but it was evidently still a slower process then his instant healing.

You could clearly see his wound restoring itself at a moderate pace that in 15 seconds, it was completely healed.

"So, it took thirty seconds before your body began to heal but there was still some effect of anti heal and it took an extra fifteen seconds to completely heal it. However, the body stopped releasing blood at the thirty second mark...so once healing begins, its first priority is to stop blood flow…" Qi Yuan began to speak his thoughts, while bringing out his journal and ink pen. The ink pen started to write onto the journal without Qi Yuan and started to note everything he was saying, it was as if they had a mind of its own.

Li was standing with his mouth wide open at the book and pen effortlessly writing and turning pages as he glanced at Qi Yuan. 'Why are you so unfazed? Is this normal for you? Oh fuck, can others make their items haunted too!? Does common sense not apply here!? Ah, at least there aren't any ghosts here...I hope'

However, the glowing blood in the jar began to evaporate into nothingness after Li's healing was completed!

In mere seconds, the blood inside the jar completely disappeared, leaving no trace of it.

Ther two stood in silence.

"Hm...your body's too strange!" Qi Yuan whacked Xuan Li at the back of his head as if it was his fault for what occurred.

"Ow! How do you think I feel!?" Li really wanted to beat Qi Yuan for all his bullying but he knew he would just get a worse beating.

"So not only does your body have ridiculous healing, your own blood evaporates when it's outside your body for too long? Ah...this is quite troublesome." Qi Yuan headed to the wooden table and rested his head on it.

Xuan li, on seeing Qi Yuan's dejected face, felt quite happy seeing his kidnapper look so down. He was hoping that his kidnapper would let him go now because he can't continue with his weird experiments.

However, Li didn't want to show that he is happy to Qi Yuan, in case out of pettiness, he would keep him trapped and simply torture him for the remaining days before his academic term starts.

"Ah, I'm so sorry about my body's complications." Li started to evoke his great acting skills to fool Qi Yuan into letting him go.

"Honestly, if I could help further, I would. However, it seems there's nothing else we can do since how are we meant to stop blood from dissapearing"

"Ah, it's truly a shame. The world is too cruel for giving us countless obstacles" Li moved his head down in grievance and disappointment. Honestly, most people who saw this would thinK Li is genuinely upset about not being useful as a test subject but Qi Yuan still mindlessly looked at him with his head on the table.

Seeing no reaction, Xuan Li continued with his act "Don't worry, I am sure you will figure something out. You're a great teacher of THE Ascension Academy."

"Alas, I am only a student who can't compare to a fraction of your intelligence. All I can provide is moral support and belief you can accomplish your mission."

Qi Yuan continued to stare at Xuan Li with an absent mind.

"So, teacher, since we are stuck now. How about sending me back and find new more useful subjects for your experiments...so...can I go back?" Li finished his amazing performance but began to twiddle his fingers as he expectantly waited for Qi Yuan's reply.

'Come on, just let me go you deranged sadistic teacher'

Qi Yuan stopped resting his head on the table and sat up with a relaxed posture on his chair "I…"

'Yes,yes,yes, YESSS'

"I...."

'Come on! You know the right answer!!!'

"I have an idea!"

'FUCKKKKK'

Qi Yuan smirked at Li with mischievous eyes

"You're not getting away that easily kid."
