I scratched my cheeks and avoided his eyes. His stare continues to grow intense, and I, in the end, gave in. I can't win against him. It's not fair.
"I'm searching for someone," I told him.
"A man?" He furiously held onto my shoulder. I shook my head and gently removed his hands off.
"It's a lady I met during the social debut," I answered.
"Ah…I see," Kaeden shyly responded, and his ears grew red. "But why did you try hiding about it?" He asked while I felt cold sweat forming on my forehead.
"I didn't want to hide it. Just wanted to surprise you?" I answered in an unsure tone.
"Then it must be a huge surprise for me," He smirked, then touched his chin. "Though I don't remember what kind of an occasion is there to celebrate."
"You'll see soon," I gave him a smile, and he ruffled my hair.
Will stop updating this novel. I'm sorry to my readers.
