Chương 46: Essence of Change
As Mike wanted to know more about what changes happened he searches every corner of the cavern.
Looking carefully at the walls he found out that the wall is now more paved like there is no garbage, to begin with.
The place is still dark but you can clearly see what's here and there by squinting your eyes.
It didn't take much time to take a stroll because the ground is now even and clean to make it comfortable to walk.
While he strolls Imuthis is just there staring at Mike giving him such uneasiness.
(Guh...)
A day had passed in the void and there is nothing much happened that important to tell.
Mike decided to try to go out of the cavern but Imuthis warned him.
He didn't listen and proceed to climb from the wall to the hole in the middle.
Because of the paved walls which gives him quite trouble he didn't manage to climb a single step at the end.
So a second day had passed.
Mike tried again and managed to climb halfway through to the dome but he has forgotten that there is a weird gravity in the void that pulls him down every time he goes up.
In the end, it was a complete failure.
The day repeats like that until a week later and even then he still didn't manage to take a single step at the hole.
This day was his last attempt and as he was about to climb through the hole while enduring the gravity pull and the slippery dome.
However...
"Ah, Mike. It's time to go..."
"HA!?!?!? Oy Isn't it rude to interrupt me like that!?"
Blurting out his surprise a black mist appeared out of nowhere and embrace his body making his vision all in black.
The last thing he heard...
"I hope you don't get surprised at what's happened to your body after seeing it."

Feeling his heavy body he immediately knows that he's in the real world.
The pain is still there but he could only feel numbness.
His head is still heavy from mental exhaustion as he grabs his head massaging it to relax.
"Bluerghh... It feels like I'm having a hangover."
He stands up and notices the bubble he's staying is still big even tho he's unconscious for a week or more.
Looking at his chest he realized that his lungs only started breathing after he woke up.
"Thanks...? I guess...."
Putting all of the blame on the speed-up evolution he decided to check more of his surrounding.
Everything outside is pitch black dark as there only silence can be heard from outside and inside the bubble. Like a void, if one could say.
It looks like he's at midnight zone where the sun's light cannot reach. Because his eyes were closed shut for two days he doesn't notice the change in his surrounding until now.
As time goes by the numbness goes away and realizes that below his knees there cold feeling of water.
It's a weird pond.
Red thick pond kinda like blood yet it's not.
"Ew..."
Raising his one foot the liquid drips can be seen.
As he feels disgusted. In the pond something like a piece of teeth float at the surface.
Not only teeth but even large chunks of the flesh are there, rotten like it was there for a long time.
Immediately checking his body just like always his body is now completely new. Even his whole left hand was new too even tho it was eaten whole.
But then what's this chunk of flesh and even teeth are here?
As he is in thinking his recovery ability triggered for a short moment and his teeth fall from his mouth into the pond.
(T-t-this is mine!?)
He might already be forgotten about this but just like last time, an unusual liquid drips down from his skin but this time it was more disgusting and terrifying.
[Hahaha! I knew it that you will be disgusted and scared!]
(Fuck you and you're weird entertainment where did you learn this kind of thing to make fun of people who's suffering?!]
[Are you sure you're not talking to yourself when you said that?]
(You...!)
[Well anyway, don't wish for that weird liquid to disappear from your body because it has a special substance that will help you in this situation. Even if you wish it, it will not disappear anyway so I guess what I said just now is nonesense.]

[Oh yeah as always I'm not gonna tell you how's that liquid will help you so go risk your life and learn it by yourself!]

"Hoy! You piece of shit come back here!"
As soon Imuthis stop talking the sound of his stomach growling can be heard.
It's so loud showing that he needs to eat or else he will immidiately die.
(I'm hungry... But I don't want to go outside.)
He tried the vision of the dazzling stars but because he's already gotten used to focusing his thought on one point without needing full meditation, he immidiatelt enters the dazzling stars vision without a sweat.
I guess the hellish experience of pain under the pressure has worth giving to his body and mind.
The familiar countless stars appeared in his view. Because he has gotten used to seeing it he immediately proceeds to search a food within vincity.
His body is in full light because he is staying inside the bubble.
Gray, green, yellow light but mostly are red lights are near that can be reached.
From his experience, the green light is the sea urchin that floats for some reason and the red light is a harmful creature that will surely bite him if he got near it.
Mike still doesn't know what light are the harmless fishes to eat without much struggle. He tried to guess what light but because of his hunger, he straight up targets the red light creatures hoping that they have meat to offer to his stomach.
Stretching his hands he proceeds to walk towards the light with his imaginary body while in real life his body is staying in one place as his hands are stretching towards something.
The size of the red light a little bigger than the last one may be same size as the blackboard.
The reason why he can go towards the light even tho he isn't moving is still a mystery but that answer will be on another story.
After minutes or so of chasing the red light, he senses a danger coming to his head. Maybe because he always receive an attack toward his head he acquired an instinct for his head, especially on that occasion.
Ducking his head so low he managed to dodge the danger but what happens next is something he doesn't want to experience again.
Dodging the attack to his head means that there is actually an attack in real life means that the bubble is also involved.
In short, the bubble was pop.
Then another rock and roll experience has begun.
