Chương 41: Sea Urchin
It's been one and a half months since the last time he wakes up. Pretty much everything changes into less difficulty compared when he's not evolved yet.
He is still descending at a much slower rate as they go deep.
The bubbles are still appearing from here and there so the problem about them disappearing is unlikely but the durability of the bubbles is now more fragile than ever that if Mike goes inside the bubble with his usual strength the bubble will easily pop. But in the end, he managed to control his speed and strength as he takes his time to enters the bubble slowly but steadily.
Mike who is naked since then hasn't experienced any sort of sickness in these past days nor stomachache when he ate the raw fishes.
He always tried his best to eat the same type of fishes over and over again in case if he catches a new one it might be a poison type.
Because he breathes less than the average human could he can stay 10 hours longer inside the bubble which is convenient.
He is about to reach the midnight zone by guessing the sun's light reach where only barely of its ray can only reach his place.
He can even see clearly the darkness below him as he feels terrified every time he looks at it.
He prays to stay in this current bubble forever instead of embarking to the midnight zone where you can't see a single thing except the darkness.
(Then my evolved eyes are kinda useless at this point. *sigh*)
There is still more time left to regret, he even caught many fishes just to subdue his stress but in the end, it did not help.
(Now that I've thought about it... Every time I go out my whole body hurts like hell because the pressure is getting higher. It looks like speed-up evolution has limits to help my body in this kind of situation, huh.)
[Foolish! Just take some time and the changes will come. Remember you already got a unique evolution since you're fourteen you can't die easily because of that.]
(Unique evolution? You never said that to me!)
[What you really don't know about it!? Even tho the Karate guy said it you directly back then.]

Raising a tantrum all by himself in the middle of the underwater ocean if someone could ever see him in this state they will call him weird.
The argument aside the bubble still has 15 hours left for it to be depleted.
The bubble is still large for Mike to freely roam around a little.
He still cannot control his skin dropping off turning into liquid substance tho.
What's more, is that no matter how loud or many times he shouts he hasn't experienced any problems in his lungs even tho he breaths less air than he could that he's having difficulty breathing.
(I kinda miss touching my phone for once. *sigh* I hope this evolution has more than this. Since I still have plenty of time left I'll just observe what will happen for now.)
Oh yeah, by the way, the problem of dehydration is no more a problem because every time Mike goes outside to find another bubble he doesn't feel any thirsty for some reason. He didn't know the reason how but he never ask it to himself, I mean this is good for him why would he question it?
(Oh right, there is something bugging me since days ago... It feels like there is something above my head like it was scratching me. Maybe it will be better to relax myself.)
He sits in the middle of the bubble crossing his legs to each other forming a meditation position.
Closing his eyes he tried something that he never tried since he last wakes up.
(Alright, let's do this.)
This will be his first-time meditation so there is a chance that he will fail.
(Focusing my conscious in one point and humming just like that movie did.) It only takes 3 minutes and in the end, it was a complete failure.
He failed, of course, that's expected and after a 10 minutes break, he tried it again.
(Okay, I guess humming is complete nonsense so I'll just focus myself for now.)
Because of the threat from dangerous fishes or fish monsters are no more since he didn't see any of them for days, he can now focus his full thoughts without raising his guard.
(Just focus on achieving my current goal.)
Thinking of a certain goal in his mind he imagines himself trying to grasp it in his hands as he tried to walk towards it. However, as he walks from his imagination something is pulling him back as he tried to reach it.
In just his second time for almost an hour of fighting in his mind, he managed to acquire it.
The little green light is now in his imaginary hands smiling widely as he managed to catch through his efforts.
With his imaginary body, he dances around proudly like a mad lad.
(Hahaha! This little shit is bothering me for days thinking that I couldn't catch it but unfortunately, I have my own time in my hands now!)
[M-Mike! Y-you just what have you done!?]
(Oy! You always appeared when you are not needed, now answer my question from earlier!)
[Idiot, do you know what you catch!? Ughh... Just open your eyes!]
Opening his eyes he saw his hands stretch forward to the outside of the bubble just like what his imaginary hands are doing as his body is already standing up from the bubble floor.
His hands are grasping something but cannot see what's inside but it's trying to get out from his grasp but with Mike's curiosity, he tightens his hands harder.
Pulling hands back his hands inside the bubble to see what he caught Imuthis warms him.
[Mike! Idiot! Don't bring it inside!]
Before Mike could fully understand what Imuthis was saying he opens it dropping the thing at the ground as he realizes...
Its a sea urchin.
Fortunately, with Mike's strong skin, the spikes didn't manage to hurt him nor feel him.
However, as they descend deep into the ocean the bubbles are now somewhat soft and easy to break.
With the sea urchin's spikes haha... You know what will happen.
The time around him moves slowly as Mike's eyes are staring at the falling sea urchin in surprise.
His reaction is too late but he still stretches his hands below the sea urchin hoping to land from his hands.
(NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!)
His expression of despair is showing from his face but because the scene is in now in slow motion his despair is somewhat funny to the audience.
Why are you laughing? He might die you know?
Asking for why in the world is the sea urchin is floating in the middle of the ocean instead of staying on the ocean bed is still in question but that's not the main question for now.
The sea urchin reaches the ground as Mike's hand is too far away to reach.
The spike landed at the bubble popping it with a bang.
In slow motion, the bubble's part rupture first from the place where the spike hit as the parts around it also ruptures second, and then around it also ruptures third, like a chain, it rupture until it reaches the end of the bubble until it disappears as the water surges inside with an intense amount of pressure.
Narrator: "SA... ROCK AND ROLL HAJIIMARIDA!" (NOW, IT'S TIME TO ROCK AND ROLL!)
