Chương 104: Ch.104 A Kodiak Moment...
Elsewhere after they were dropped off by a helicopter, Carlos Olivera and two other Umbrella soldiers Nicholai Ginovaef and Yuri Loginova link up with multiple S.T.A.R.S units in an attempt to hold against an onslaught of zombies in the streets.
However, they are overrun, causing Carlos and his team to fall back with an infected Yuri, who was bitten during the battle.
[Kris POV]
Upon entering the church, Kris was alerted by Shearpike that multiple lickers were in the vicinity.
He began to look around to spot the vile creatures.
The church seemed to be in good condition. The Stained glass windows were intact, the seats and candlesticks were in place. However, the wavering flame from the candles gave the place a creepy atmosphere.
Yet, still no lickers in sight.
Suddenly, a voice with a scottish accent came from the side. "You have to get out! this is my place, I'm hiding here!" said the man as he points his gun at the group.
Everyone was stopped in there tracks as those words rang. Well, everyone but Kris. As he blurred behind the man, and knocked him out.
Terri even commented,"This place is big enough for all of us." But the man didn't hear at all since he was already unconscious crumpling to the ground.
"Well, Your getting rusty there old timer!" giving Peyton a look,then shaking his head at the man who looked like he got caught with his pants down.
Jill just smacks him in the shoulder for making fun at Peyton.
Terri who manage to get everything on tape, kept playing and replaying that clip.
Until she couldn't wrap her mind on it anymore and asked,"How did you just do that? You were by the door just now..."
"Lady, I've stop asking that ever since he joined S.T.A.R.S. on his first mission."
"Some even say... That's the only reason he got in the force. If he isn't such a D*ck he would be an OK guy." said Peyton.
Kris just roll his eyes at that, and walk towards a near by bench taking a seat.
He then takes out some of the rations, from his storage belt which were food pills and solid water cubes.
He handed most of it to Jill, and She went around giving them to the rest of the people. Including the guy he knocked out earlier, as he just came to his senses.
This was the first time Peyton, and the other movie characters ate the food pills. What they thought were medicine turned out to be food which sated their hunger and left an after taste of a steak dinner in their mouth.
They looked at Jill in surprise and she pointed to Kris. "Don't look at me. These things belong to Him. I was just given some." Then she took out a cigarette, and placed it on her lips.
But, before she could light it. A hand swiftly plucked it off her lips, surprising her in the process.
Looking up at the culprit, her eyes met Kris's. Quickly standing up, and saying,"I really hate it when you do that! Will you quit it already!" she then sat down pouting.
Kris just shook his head, and went back to where he was sitting.
Terri Morales took this chance to ask,"What's with you, and blondy over there." pointing at Kris with her gaze.
Jill was about to place another cigarette on her lips. But, then she spotted Kris as he was about to stand up again. So, she frustratedly tossed the cigarette to the side.
She sighed, and said,"He wasn't always like that you know, I mean he's always have been quirky. But, this all started when he found out, that I never had a man in my life before."
"Well, it wasn't all too sudden. He always praised me, told me how he admired my skills and personality."
"But, that one time when I got drunk and accidentally blurt out that little tidbit of information. He started putting me in this weird pedestal, he always appears to come to my aid... suddenly bringing things I needed. Like some obsessed butler."
"Well at first, it was kinda cute. But, then enough was enough. I confronted him why he was doing all these things for me... Do you know what he told me?"
"He said in a really creepy voice, silly girl, Its because you're on the menu, and I'm buttering you up, to get to your good graces!' He said that outloud as if telling the whole world I was his meal!"
"I was stunned by this, the mixture of embarrassment, shock, and fear. Gave me all the wrong sort of signals. I was thinking, he haven't even asked me out on a date! And, suddenly he suddenly wants to gobble me up."
"When he started laughing like a loon, and began walking towards me. That's when I panicked, and ran."
"When he came after me, to say it was a joke. I didn't want to listen and kept running. Some guys in the unit tackled him to the ground, and confined him until I calmed down. I just got freaked by his sudden declaration, and all the hair on my body stood on end. The creepy voice, and the crazy hungery look in his eyes made it worse."
"His been trying to woo me ever since. Doing all sorts of nice things for me, in the guise of making it up to me. But, I just keep thinking his just trying to get into my pants. His not violent though, his kinda of D*ck only to others since then." Finish Jill.
"He may seem like a taciturn guy who, has a weird taste in jokes... But his reliable. Save my life a couple of times. The Lieutenent says he has a feral side to him and our girl Jill here is his perfect mate or something. That's why his so hooked up on her." said Peyton.
"But, she got spooked, akin to a gazelle about to be eaten by a drooling cheetah. So yeah, those two are at it ever since. Everybody has a bet going on. On either Jill here becomes an Nun, or The big bad wolf over there sinks his teeth on her. It's like watching the Discovery Channel." said Peyton with a little chuckle.
"Whatever!! I need some air, might as well check out the place." said Jill and leaves the little gathering.
"So, He doesn't like it when she smokes?" asked Terri
Peyton sighs saying,"Redfield, a buddy of ours. Asked him about it once, he told him that it will affect the juicy healthy meat if she does."
This answer made Terri throw a weird look at Kris, seeing this Peyton shook his head saying,"I told you his a D*ck."
Kris who was listening to all this, was cursing the system to high heavens. Thinking,'Who the fook is the system making me as? Fooking The Animal?! And what's with the cigarette thing? I didnt have control over my body at all. Worse is I did it without even realizing, not until she began telling her story.'
His train of curses went on, until a gun shot was heard coming from where Jill ran off to.
Kris then snapped out of his funk, and grinned. As it would seem Alice is about to enter the picture.
