Chương 78: Troublemakers
"Why are you screaming?"
"Ahem" Ares was clearly taken aback for a moment before giving a few dry coughs while calming down.
"So, can you tell me what the matter with this place is?"
"Since you were not originally part of this plane, it is understandable that you do not know."
"Then stop dawdling and explain it to me."
"Alright, Alright. This world, as 5 continents as you should already know." As Ares spoke through the little bit of Divinity he had left with Jack, he stopped in the middle for a moment.
"Let me send over some Divinity to show you rather than explaining it."
Jack just nodded and allowed a thread of divinity to enter the cage, which instantly transformed into a three-dimensional, hovering model of the prime plane with its 5 continents.
However, there was something different. The Northern Continent did not have any black fog on it, and the eastern continent did not have any whit fog on it.
Suddenly remembering the Eastern continent, Jack spoke before the presentation could progress any further.
"Oh yes, since you are at it, also explain the Eastern continent."
"Alright" Ares said casually as the image began to change.
The image zoomed out of the continent, and came to the point which Jack could see everything from currently within his cage. He could see the prime plane as a ball of see-through glass which was incredibly thick, with many other smaller balls of opaque glass revolving around it like planets to a star. These smaller ones were clearly divine kingdoms of all the gods.
Suddenly, a beam of black and white light were intertwined with each other appeared in the distance, moving at a speed that horrified Jack. He clearly knew that this was the speed similar to the speed that his soul had been sent flying into the void as it broke apart slowly.
However, these two black and white lights did not seem to be affected by the speed at all. In fact, it could be seen that the two were actually locked in an intense clash.
The white energy was clearly trying to escape, a strong force of destruction emanating from it. On the other hand, the black force was clearly trying to stop the white force, a strong force of restriction continuously cancelling out the white force.
Thus, the two were stuck at a stalemate.
Unknowingly, while the two were clashing, they flew by the prime plane, just missing it my a few thousand kilometres.
However, from the viewpoint that Jack was seeing this at, that distance was nearly non-existent compared to the sheer size of the black and white energies. The prime plane looking like a tiny ant compared to the truly gigantic energies.
As the two flew by, everything in their path was destroyed.
Naturally, the white energy did not want this small amount of destruction, but an incomprehensibly large amount of destruction, and the black energy was clearly trying to stop it with everything it had.
Although the prime plane was not destroyed, a small, tiny, almost microscopic, comparatively to the whole, amount of energy from the two energy beings, and flew into the prime plane.
The thick wall of glass that is supposed to stop gods from entering without using their divinity created from faith, was as thin as paper against the two energies, which unstoppably slammed into the continents. Thankfully, the black energy of restriction fell into the northern continent, and the white energy of destruction fell into the eastern continent.
The two energy rapidly spread and took over the entire continent within seconds, forming the fogs, killing any gods who had connections with the two places. However, the world itself moved for the first time since the creation of life on this plane, and it suppressed the energy from growing any more. It tried to remove the two energies, but unable to do so, it could only maintain its suppression.
"And that is what happened." Ares spoke with a sigh. At that time, the gods, who called themselves the guardians and rulers of the prime plane, were unable to do anything. Many of them instantly dying, vanishing from existence to the two powers. At the time, all gods, including Ares, could only feel small compared to the two great and mighty beings whose level of existence was just as incomprehensible as the great Overlord that created everything.
"It's those two!" Jack exclaimed softly, however, to Ares, these words were like thunder.
'What? This fellow knows the two energies?' However, a few moments, later, this indeed did seem reasonable, since the mighty being that created everything had personally announced the God of System's existence. At this moment, unknowingly, the admiration, shock, fear, and loyalty of Ares towards this being sealed personally by the creation overlord who created everything grew much more.
On the other hand, Jack's soul trembled imperceptibly. It was indeed that [Meta*ron] and [Luc*fer], who had tortured his soul, and fought over him, before tossing him aside to that greater being who was an overlord. These two angels, who even came over to bully him a while ago. And it seemed like it was their past time to go around causing trouble everywhere, killing planes like they were ants.
'However, those planes are quite possibly even smaller and weaker than ants to those two angels from the quaternity of creation.' Jack Mused to himself as he sighed.
