Chương 26: Chapter 25: Preparations to Return.

The next day, when I had to return to Pentos with Daenerys, she still looked at me with some fear. But compared to yesterday, we were making progress. We had a small breakfast, and I let Daenerys prepare for return, with her gifts on as I told her the night before. We didn't talk more than necessary, as I didn't trust her yet, and she didn't know me well enough.

I still can't believe that I am married to her And that King Robert already knows. The sellswords that appeared in my wedding are testimony of it. Things have changed too much. And now, the future is uncertain.

But we move forward. Now what I need is to change Daenerys mentality. And let her choose her destiny and control her life. Only that way can she face everything that is to come.

I helped her get on her horse, and we started to ride back to the Pack. We were about an hour away, and our slow and silent trip back seemed eternal. From time to time, I could feel her stare at me, obviously hesitant if she should say something. What happened the night before still makes her reconsider her opinion of me. And as for me, she makes me nervous. The psychological shadows of my life terrified me to the core.

This way, we arrived at the camp of my Pack, As soon as they saw us arrive. All of them showed respect for their alpha and their new member, the wife of their leader. Daenerys appearance was now one of a true Queen. And the shadow of an aura of such was starting to appear around her. It seems that her tunic, crown, and arakh with our talk already made an impact on the young Targaryen.

We arrived, I helped her off her horse, I acknowledged the visits that were still in the Pack. Like Illyrio and Viserys that had not gone back to Pentos. And finally, walked towards Missandei to assign her tasks.

"Missandei, I need you to help me train her. She has many things to learn if she wants to fit in with us. Since you join us, I have seen your effort to help the Pack, so that's why I'm giving such an important task, I hope you can do it well," I finished, explaining to her in Dothkari as it was already custom in the Pack.

"Don't worry, David. It will be done as you expect," replied Missandei, feeling honored that I would give her such an important task.

"Go and get accustomed with Daenerys, and remember she doesn't know yet of us and our true nature, try not to frighten her before you know we can trust her. And be careful with her brother, she is now one of us, so make sure nothing happens with him," I warned her because I knew things will get worse with that beast.

"Understood," and before I could say anything else, she went to Daenerys and started talking with a bright smile on her face. And I knew I could trust Missandei. Since I rescued her from the master, her link has been growing. And now it's not weaker than with my trustees.

Now that that was taken care of. I needed to discuss with Tyrion what we needed to do now. The King already making trouble for us made us change our plans for the future. It didn't take long for me to find him.

"Tyrion, how are we going to deal with this. The King already knows of my wedding with a Targaryen, and the attacks won't stop with the dead sellsword," I asked, wanting to know what Tyrion thought.

"Well, I told you that marrying the Targaryen girl would bring us problems, But when something gets in your head it's impossible to take it out," Said Tyrion, not taking the subject seriously. Since coming to my side, his character has been coming out more and more.

"I know, I know. But as you know, we Lycans. Normally do things by impulse and by what our hearts tell us. That's why keeping your drunk ass around is so useful. So come on, let's have some drinks and plan what we need to do," I replied, starting to walk toward the storage for some wine.

To this comment, Tyrion could only laugh and followed behind me. Being close for such a long time, we were already like brothers. And these interactions were already very common between us.

"Well, first of all, we need to have in mind that with your new wife, all your descendants will be targeted by the fat King, But I know you are not concerned about this. In my opinion, we can continue with our plans, but just be more careful and keep tabs on the King. Second I want you to reconsider sending Gendry and Myrcella to help Jon Snow. It is too dangerous for them, and it is unnecessary we don't need to go back there even more beyond the wall. Our life in the Dothraki sea is already good enough. And lastly, how are going to deal with Viserys, his attitude is already bad enough. And thinking that he has you under his control will only make him more unruly. I think we should get rid of him," Said Tyrion thinking of the main problems and concerns he had.

Tyrion has been getting closer and closer to Tommen and Myrcella. And having to separate from her made him uncomfortable.

"Our strength will only grow, and even if the Kings comes himself, he will not hurt my family. I just want to be sure that the Pack will be safe. Regarding Gendry and Myrcella, they need to go. Beyond the wall is a dangerous place, But danger goes by hand with opportunity. They will be fine, I already explained to them what to watch for. And you know that Wildings would make great Lycans. And for now, we just need to take special attention, the moment he dares to lay hands on any of us, we will teach him our ways. He still has his uses. You know Targaryen blood is quite powerful." I replied, thinking that it needed to be done.

"I know, but parting with her is hard. Even more when she will be alone with that guy," said Tyrion quite distressed.

"You know he's a good kid and treats her fairly. Stop being so overprotective. she can take care of herself. And she's happy, which is what matters," I replied to him, trying to go easier on the kid. These last few years have been hard for him, thanks to an overprotective uncle.

"Yeah yeah," he said dismissively. changing his mind was not an easy task.

We talked about the rest of our plans and consolidate them. After we were done and had in mind what we needed to do. We went to help the Pack finished everything here and go on our way to the Dothraki sea.

[Winterfell]

Three weeks have gone by without much trouble. Robert took the Starks on various hunts for boar. That started as soon as Ned agreed to marry Sansa to Joffrey. And go to the capital with him. But this day, something unexpected happened. When Robert's party returned, Theon rushed towards Lord stark and told him that the triplets were hurt and their status was dire.

To everybody outside of the starks thought of them being shot by hunters by mistake. But the reality was that they ignored the rules of the family. And in their true selves when to play out in the forest. and some poachers dare to play their idea, ending in them seriously hurt. If it wasn't for lady Stark noticing and taking care of the poachers in time, who would know what will happen.

And thanks to them not activating their moon blessing yet and still being young. Their healing ability was not developed yet. So it would take about a month for them to be able to wake up. Thanks to their bodies going in an I hibernation state to save energy.

And with Ned going to the capital soon, many emotions were going through lady stark.

And Ned as well as their sibling still care very much about their help. putting Winterfell's atmosphere in an uncomfortable scene.

And aside from that, Jon receives another letter from David telling him that Gendry and Myrcella would accompany him. which made him ecstatic as he didn't have the opportunity to be with other Lycans apart from his family.

And now it was time to go away from Winterfell, and his emotions were getting the best of him.
