Chương 35: Daring Flender (While praying for himself).
Well, seeing that Tang Ming has calmed down, Flender turned to look at Ning Rongrong.
"Well, Ning Rongrong do you have anything to say, if not then you have to follow the rules of the academy if you want to study here, this is the first and the last time I'm letting you go unpunished but if you don't behave I'll have you leave the academy."
"Hmph, chase me out? It's not that easy. Flender I warn you to mind your own business. If not you can't bear the consequences." Ning Rongrong stepped forward and said with pure arrogance.
Flender didn't say anything else to her and looked at Mubai and said, "Mubai, help this girl pack her things."
"You dare, Flender?"
"I'm in charge of my own territory and here things goes as I want." Flender said domineeringly and gestured to Mubai.
"Ever since young, you're the first one to treat me like this." Ning Rongrong said in anger while making eye contact with Flender.
"Haha, even if you're the precious daughter of Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda sect, you're merely a little spirit grandmaster to me. Any other student standing here is stronger than you." Flender said with his eyes narrowing and smirked.
Ning Rongrong forgetting that she had already been humiliated once, again said with impatience, " Nonsense. I'm now at level 25. I'm the most outstanding genius in the sect for hundred years. And the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda clan is the best. No one can beat us."
"Hmph, Mubai has already reached Spirit Elder, Tang San, Tang Ming and Xiao Wu has already reached level 30, and talking about genius, they're all better than you. Although Ma Hongjun spirit hasn't fully evolved yet, but it still is one of the top martial spirit that only few in the continent can compete with. Although Zhu Zhuqing is just one level above you while being a little younger, she has staunch persistence and determination beyond your reach." Flender then without looking at Zhu Zhuqing asked, "Zhu Zhuqing, why did you came here?"
"To make myself stronger." Zhu Zhuqing answered without any hesitation.
"I'm an auxiliary system spirit master. Of course, I can't compete with them. I'll be much more useful in the battlefield. " Ning Rongrong shamelessly said.
"Useful? You? Without a single ounce of persistence and will power you would be the first one to be killed in the battlefield." Flender smirked while a little contempt can be seen in his eyes too. He didn't think this girl would be so shameless.
"With your arrogance, do you seriously think someone is willing to cover your back?"
"You..!! I'm sure I'm better than Oscar there." She pointed to Oscar while still throwing her tantrum.
"You're comparing yourself with Oscar? Have you ever seen a food spirit master born with innate full spirit power? He is one of the unprecedented case. His achievements can easily be boundless with right guidance. And one day, maybe he will replace your Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda as the best Auxiliary System Spirit."
"Do you ever realise that among all the students, you're the weakest one?" Flender said bluntly and without any reservations.
Tears can be seen forming in Ning Rongrong's eyes, as she ran out of the field while crying.
'If I can't even handle a little girl, I'm not worth the title of One of the Golden Triangle.'
At this time Mubai came forward scratching his head and asked, "Dean, should I go and help her pack her things?"
"What? do you wish her to leave?" Flender said looking at Mubai like he was a fool. The he looked at Oscar and said, "Oscar, you go and comfort Ning Rongrong."
"Yes, dean." Oscar said and followed Ning Rongrong.
Dai Mubai stepped back in his row thinking to himself.
'Dean, dared to scold the little princess of Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda clan, our dean really is something.'
But if he knew that, Flender is praying in his heart that Sword Douluo should not have been informed of this incident otherwise the day will not be far when he will be beaten.
After quickly coming out of his thought he turned around and looked at all of them menacingly and said :
"In this school, my words are order and those who disobey...."
"So moving toward your first lesson, it will be to fight in Soto City Spirit Arena. Let's depart." After saying that Flender took all of them and departed toward the Spirit Arena.
"Dean, you're bringing them there on their first day?" Dai Mubai hurriedly asked with some concern.
"You all are monsters and so you'll also be trained in monstrous way. Let's go." Flender said looking at all of them as they all nodded their head with determination.
Tang Ming also has some expectation regarding the spirit arena as he hadn't have the chance to battle in it.
On the way, Mubai and Flender told them about Spirit Arena and it's purpose.
As we reached there, we can see an enormous building that looks more like a huge palace then arena to fight.
"After registration, each participant will recieve an Iron Soul Badge, every win can earn you one point while losing will also make you lose one point. A hundred point will advance you to Bronze Soul Badge and and so on. Before you all graduate, I want all of you to at least get a Silver Soul Badge." Flender said looking at them."
"Yes dean!" They all nodded their head.
"Okay, I won't explain the rest now. Mubai you can introduce them to the rest."
"There are three types of battles in the great arena, one-on-one battle, two-on-two battle and team battle. The last one is not of any importance now as we all have different spirit power level. In the great arena you can only advance throught battles and can gain money, experience in combat and even improve your spirit level." Dai Mubai explained to them slowly. Flender seeing this nodded and gestured Dai Mubai.
"Mubai, bring them to register." Flender said to Mubai who nodded and took all of us to the registration counter.
Tang San at this time asked Mubai, "Which rank is Silver Soul Badge?"
Dai Mubai explained while walking forward, " There are eight rank of badges, from bottom to top is Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Purple-Gold, Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond."
"Silver Soul Badge is only at the third rank, so it's not that hard to earn." Xiao Wu said with glee.
Dai Mubai just smiled at that and said, "It's not easy as you think. I've been battling here since I was level 29. Now I have 29 wins and 27 loses, only two point."
They all were shocked hearing this as Tang San again said , " Only two points, with your capability and fighting power?"
They all knew about Dai Mubai's strength, so they were quite shocked hearing that he had only two points.
"Nothing impossible. It's not easy to win in Soto City Spirit Arena" He then looked at fatty and said, " Fatty, tell them your results."
Fatty spread his hand and said in an happy tone, "21 wins and 12 loses, 9 points."
Tang San immediately asked, "Why is your score higher than him?"
"In the arena, battles are arranged according to your level. When I was a spirit grandmaster too at level 29 and 30. I consecutively won many matches as my battle was aranged only with those at spirit grandmaster level. But when I entered spirit elder level I was matched against opponent of more level than me. Like when I was level 31 I was matched against those with spirit power level 35 or 36. Fatty has this many wins in his name because he is already at the later stages of spirit grandmaster and only need to fight those in his level, so that's why his score is a little higher than me." Dai Mubai explained to them.
"Okay let's go in and don't just waste the time. "
In Tang Ming's eyes this whole arena looked like football stadium which can hold thousand of people. And there are also VIP seats too.
The registration is also quite simple. They quickly registered and was assigned to a spirit arena.
"I suggest that in addition to one-on-one battle, you should also fight in two-on-two battles too, in that way you can also aquire points quickly." Dai Mubai suggested.
"Brother lets form a group!" Xiao Wu said with a grin, " Uhm.. about the name let's call it San Wu combination."
"....." Tang San just nodded.
"Then I will pair up with Tang Ming." At this moment Zhu Zhuqing said lightly.
As soon as she said, Dai Mubai expression slightly changed.
Tang Ming too was slightly shocked that she offered to pair up with him herself but was pleasantly surprised nonetheless.
"Or Ma Hongjun and I will do as well." Zhu Zhuqing continued.
Ma Hongjun's eye lit up hearing that.
"No way!" These words made Dai Mubai expression drastically change as he continued, "You should go with Tang Ming. With his strength he can easily protect you."
Are you kidding me? letting Zhu Zhuqing pair up with this horny phoenix who was filled with full of evil fire? No way in hell he would let her be with him.
Ma Hongjun looked at Mubai with a look that says he was betrayed.
"What should be the name of the combination?" Zhu Zhuqing asked looking at Tang Ming.
"Hm, let's call it Qing Ming combination as Qing from your name and Ming from mine. It sounds good too." Tang Ming said.
Zhu Zhuqing nodded.
After deciding on their group name they went to the counter and registered their group and returned after a while.
"Well al we have to do now is wait for our turn." Tang Ming said.
Dai Mubai still felt a little uncomfortable looking at Zhuqing standing side by side with Tang Ming but didn't said anything.
Qing Ming combination? Why does this sounds a little homophonic.
However, it is indeed a good name.

The next chapter will be released tomorrow at the same time as today and will have some battle scenes. Do spare me some mercy because I'm not good at writing fighting scenes, that's why it is always short. And I assure you it's nothing do with anything because I admire Saitama, yep definitely nothing to do with that.
