Opening the door to my home, I stepped inside to see the Suzumaru family sat around the table with Ingrid and Issei. No wonder the little pervert was awake, this was practically heaven for him. A hot stepmom, a hot housewife next door whose husband was always away on business trips with two equally hot daughters who I didn't know what they did. They were of college-age I'm sure, but what they did was something I'd never really bothered to learn.
Either way, the fact remained that Issei was surrounded by beauty and it was no wonder he was wide awake and extremely happy. I suppose though, as much as I didn't like interacting with people, this was a sight that could motivate me to get a little more into social interaction.
"Good morning." I greeted kindly, all eyes turning to me. "Sorry for being sweaty, I wasn't aware that we were having guests today."
"It wasn't organised," Arisa replied, her permanent, pleasant smile fixed upon her face. Honestly, it was unnatural how happy that woman was and a little freaky as well. "Ingrid and I are planning to go out for the day. We had plans to do it a bit later on but Ingrid insisted we do it today instead."
"Did she now?" I murmured, looking to the woman in question. "She must have quite the…desire to do it so quickly."
There was a look, Ingrid pausing as she went to sip her cup of coffee and while it went unnoticed by everyone, it didn't escape either of our attentions. We were both aware of what happened last night, and now Ingrid knew that I had suspicions and possibly even knew what she was. Certainly, it was a risk and that there's a possibility that she may just attempt to kill me later on.
However, I doubt very much she will.
It was obvious to me that whatever maternal instincts she had were directed towards Issei and hurting me, especially killing me would hurt him. Not a huge safety net I know, but it was enough for me to feel confident in my own survival. If not, then it meant I'd get the chance to see how I stacked up against the supernatural forces of the world.
There were some unnatural people within the Kengan Association, but at the end of the day, no supernatural. I needed to know where I and but extension, those who had undergone a Gu Ritual stood in comparison to the rest. We're we stronger or weaker? These answers would pave the path for me in the future.
"Yes," Arisa answered looking a little confused at my strange wording.
I ignored it though, sitting down at the table beside Megumi and across from Issei and Ayami. As I did, my eyes temporarily trailed down their forms, landing upon their largest features and remaining there for a short while. Both were very aware of my gazes and I made no intention to hide what I was doing though neither seemed overly bothered by the attention I gave them.
'They both seem pretty eager and honestly, they're hot and I'm horny.' It didn't take much to make my decision on what to do with these two girls at that point. I briefly overheard the fact that Ayami would be taking Issei to Kouh Academy on her way to college. Which in turn meant that I and Megumi would be home alone.
I spared a glance around at the table, eventually stopping on the woman in question,
The table we were on was neither small nor large, ideally meant for six but it was possible to stick another chair on at the heads of the table making it for eight, though it would be a tight fit. Ingrid and Arisa were sat on the right-hand side of the table, Ingrid at the head with Arisa to her right. To Arisa's left was Ayami and Issei on her other side. Across from him sat me and across from Ayami sat Megumi leaving an empty chair directly across from Arisa.
It meant that what happened next went mostly unnoticed, Arisa and Ingrid were busy talking though I did notice Ingrid sparing me cautious glances every now and then so she probably noticed what happened. Ayami probably did as well considering she was sat directly across from us and was directing a bit of her conversation towards me and Megumi. As for Issei and Arisa, they were too absorbed into their respective conversations to notice.
But I looked, locking eyes with the busty blue-eyed blonde. Then, making sure she was watching me, trailed my gaze down over her blue zip-up hoodie which was unzipped enough to reveal a large amount of her cleavage. Then over that and towards the tops of her thighs, her short skirt riding up her legs and the grey leggings only going up mid-thigh revealing a tantalising amount of skin.
Was she my type? Yes.
Did she offer me anything other than pleasure? No, she brought nothing to the table. No opportunities, no connections and no power. But was she hot? Fuck yes and at this point in time, that's all that mattered.
I had been blue-balled a great deal by Rina and while I had 'sampled' a few of the girls of the Gold Pleasure Company, Rina liked to keep me for herself most of the time. Did I understand why? Not a fucking clue but at the end of the day, it mattered little to me.
It was a small price to pay when Rina gave me all the wealth and connections I needed in order to build up a good foundation. Right now, Rina was expanding her escort company into the direction of nightclubs/strip clubs. Kaede was currently the manager of the newly built one here in Kouh Town. It was a shame really as I always had wanted to own a nightclub in my own life, always seemed like a great deal of fun.
And to be honest, a nightclub was a good way to meet new people. It also was a good place to do business in secret, all the loud music and people meant that a lot of stuff could go under the radar, especially if you knew the owner.
Perhaps I should speak to Rina about it? Who knows, at this point in time I was just biding my time so fulfilling a teenage fantasy of mine could be a pretty fun pastime? But I also can't guarantee that I'd be able to keep up the manager position of the club when I start to get involved in the more difficult and dangerous situations.
Sometimes it sucked to be in this position.
So many opportunities but considering my situation and current unknowns, I was left in a position unable to make the most of them. 'Though perhaps I'm just being too cautious? What's the worst that could happen? Have to give back the position of manager to Kaede when things get a little too busy for me on the other end? Hardly what I'd call a serious problem, I didn't convince Rina to take Kaede from Nogi purely because she's hot.'
-X- Line Break -X-
Rolling the pawn piece between her fingers, the redhead bit the nail of her thumb in thought as she looked out the window. Things were not shaping up the way she had expected or hoped, new and unexpected pieces beginning to appear on the board.
Convincing her family had been easy, convincing her brother to allow her to come to the human world was perhaps the most difficult task. However, she succeeded, getting her way as always and now here she was. Things had been pretty simple if a little frustrating from that point.
Her friend and rival, Sona kept finding new and quite talented members to her Peerage. Not powerful, but also not disposable pieces either. Rias was confident in her Peerages ability to win should the two ever fight in a Rating Game, but it didn't mean she didn't envy her friends success. At the end of the day, the plan to come to the human world to recruit members to her Peerage had met with no success.
Genshirou Saji was someone Rias had her eye on, but Sona had laid claim on him before Rias had the chance.
Luckily, she had found someone else, someone with perhaps an even greater value, Issei Hyoudou. He was a strange, if not amusing fellow. A shameless pervert with an interest in martial arts gained after the 'death' of his prodigious twin brother, Mikoto Hyoudou. What made him interesting was the fact that he possessed the scent of a Dragon which meant a powerful Sacred Gear.
Perhaps if she was really lucky, it might be better than Saji's own Sacred Gear. She certainly hoped so considering she needed powerful members in her Peerage to combat her 'fiancé.' Having the wielder of a Dragon Sacred Gear would be especially helpful.
Yet that's when things started to change.
Rias had been told and warned by her family that the human world was a hotbed of supernatural activity. It possessed many factions, not just Devils vying for power and would go to great extremes to get it in any way they could. Kouh was chosen because it was away from many of the factions with only a few small parties that had been long since identified.
Those beings the Busujima Clan, a near-extinct clan of Samurai whose skill in swordsmanship while worrying, wasn't too much of a problem. They only possessed two members, one the patriarch, an old man long since past his prime with an aged and dying body. The other, Saeko Busujima, was a girl in her age that while very athletic was still human.
Rias had been warned not to underestimate humans, but Rias was confident that she could win should they ever come to blows. Not that they had, Saeko was amicable to all she met. She had been present between the meetings of factions in Kouh and had seemed more than willing to allow the heiresses to reside here.
Though at the end of the day, they had no choice, inviting the wrath of two Satan's, one being the strongest of Devilkind was not a smart choice.
The others were two Magus families, the Tohsaka and its sole heir, Ron Tohsaka. A gifted and genius young girl, though again, Rias had little to worry from her. Human Magic was hardly as good as her own and she possessed the Power of Destruction. The other was the Matou family, which possessed three members. Their leader, Zouken and his grandchildren, Shinji and Sakura.
Shinji for all his arrogance had no magical potential and while Sakura had a quite large pool it was wild. Not to mention she was an incredibly soft-spoken young girl that didn't seem capable of harming a fly.
Rias had little to worry from either of them.
What she did have to worry about was the arrival of a number of new groups. There was of course the infamous Kure Clan where a few members had arrived mere days ago for reasons unknown to her. The other was a group of school thugs going around calling themselves Ragnarök. They were skilled, but hardly worrying, what was were their backers which Sona had been informed of by her sister.
Ragnarök had connections to a group of humans that were making waves in the Supernatural landscape, Worm. It was very possible that this group was the basis of a new fighting force and so, Sona and by extension, herself had been warned to not interfere, but keep an eye on them.
Information on Worm was limited and so, whatever information that could be found would be extremely valuable. Rias hoped it was valuable enough that if she found something serious could free her from Riser. A foolish hope she knew, but one she held onto.
The third group was a small squad of Fallen Angels that had recently taken residence within the old abandoned Church. They were all single-winged Fallen so not a threat, but the fact they had brazenly entered into Kouh without contacting the ruling authorities being her, Sona, the Busujima Clan and the Magi families of Tohsaka and Matou told her that their intentions were nefarious.
But it posed an opportunity and so she wouldn't let this slip by.
The final was the arrival of an unknown and formerly believed to be the dead twin of Issei Hyoudou. Considering she had her eyes on Issei for her Peerage, she had of course kept a number of Familiars to spy on the Hyoudou family. The discovery that Mikoto was alive was shocking for the family and also for her.
But it also raised questions.
Was he really who he said he was or just an imposter? If so, Rias had to wonder if removing Mikoto would be the most prudent move to make. After all, he could be there for Issei, or to steal the Sacred Gear within him. She couldn't allow that to happen.
'Perhaps though I can recruit him to my Peerage. If he really is Mikoto then he was a prodigious talent in various martial arts. A truly gifted fighter and that could be a great help to me. Issei is more easily manipulated because of his perversion, but if Mikoto is Mikoto then he will be much better to have in my Peerage in the short term.' And Rias was thinking short term.
Every month it seemed like her marriage to Riser was getting pulled forwards. And she didn't mean that purely because time was passing by, the Phenex family and her father were pushing for the marriage between her and Riser to be brought closer.
She needed powerful members in her Peerage sooner rather than later.
