Bai Shijue didn't let Han Shun leave his side because Han Shun was still an infant compared to the other cultivators in this place. Bai Shijue knew that Han Shun would be bullied, especially knowing that Han Shun could sound so arrogant to other people despite not having a malicious intention. 

"Bai Gege, can we do this forever?" Han Shun asked as they enjoyed a rice cake while watching the forest below.

"I mean, staying with only the two of us… and Chinchin, I don't need to join those cultivators in your sect, right?" Han Shun truly wanted this peaceful day to stay forever. As someone who liked to spend his time with Bai Gege and hated everybody else, this was a precious time for him!

But Bai Gege shook his head firmly, "You will join them, but not through the regular method. I don't need you to join their training because you have a different one."
