Three days had passed, and there was no movement from Clarke. Even Reed was surprised that Clarke hadn't ransacked his office or any of his business yet, because he was fully prepared for it.
Meanwhile, the kids started homeschooling, with Reed inviting teachers to the mansion. They had their own separate room for studying.
Hermes asked Uncle Reed whether he could play with his friends from the previous school, but Uncle Reed told him to wait for a moment until the situation with his real Dad had been solved, and then he could play with whoever he wanted.
Meanwhile, Gaius acted like an obedient wife again, but not for Clarke. It was for Reed instead.
Reed told him that he would never touch Gaius unless Gaius was the one who wanted it because he didn't want to be a substitute for Clarke.
[Heh, funny he said that. All he did was literally kick Clarke away from my and the kids' life, and then put himself in that empty position.]
