Chương 30: Mr. Book Store
CHAPTER 30
MCKINLEY P.O.V
I was one week away from living with Luke full time and I was no where near packed and ready to go to live with him. So here we were, at nearly 2 in the morning, emptying out my closet and dresser.
"Don't touch that. I'll do that." I said to him and he looked at me before he opened the box. "What did I say?! You're like a two year old."
"Well well well, Miss. Davis what do we have here?" He asked holding up a vibrator and looking at all of the other sex toys I had.
"Would you please?" I sighed taking it from him and putting it back.
"You really thought you were going to be able to keep this from me?" He asked.
"You never asked me if I had any of them. I wasn't planning to tell you unless you asked." I shrugged folding towels into a box.
"Can we use them sometime?"
"Whatever you want." I answered. Now take that box of books downstairs." Luke wanted to hire people to help me move but I couldn't afford that and there was no way in hell that I was going to let him pay for it. I almost offered my apartment to my mom since I would be splitting the cost of Luke's place with him and would most likely be able to afford to help my mom pay for it. She claimed she was fine where she was.
He came back in the room with a piece of pizza after putting the box in my car.
"Don't have much more room so we should pack the stuff that can be squished. Also, my brother is coming to stay with us in a few days."
"The first days that we're going to be living together we won't be alone?" I questioned.
"I thought you wanted to re-do the bathroom? I got permission to do it."
"I do." I answered.
"Well he's doing it." He commented. I looked at him. I wasn't sure if that was what Ben did for a living and I was worried he would mess it up. "He's a contractor. He'll get his guys to do whatever we want and he said he'll send in an interior designer to help us decorate it."
"Oh. Okay yeah." I smiled getting up and moved to sit on his lap. "I'm very excited to live with you." I kissed him.
"I'm excited to live with you. And I got a surprise for you at my place." He smiled looking at me.
"What is it?"
"You'll have to wait and see." He smirked laying me on the bed kissing me. "And you're gonna love it." I smiled and wrapped my legs and arms around him as he sat up and took me with him. "You're hurting me." I let go and fell to the bed apologizing and he leaned down and kissed me. "I love you anyway."
"I love you more." I smiled sitting up and glancing around the almost empty room. I had already gotten my dresser over to Luke's and it was in his guest bedroom waiting for to put the draws back in and put my clothes back into it. I still had most of my clothes here but were packed away.
The closets were empty of everything and either I threw things away or packed them away and put them in a box in my car. The fridge was also empty so we were eating takeout for the last few days and I knew by the end of this week that I was going to gain so much wait, even more than I already have since being with Luke. I always had a bigger belly than I wanted even before being with Luke but getting with him and always eating out and eating junk didn't help.
"What are you thinking about?" He questioned.
"About how I think we should start eating healthier." Luke had always eaten healthy and sometimes would eat junk food with me.
"Why? We look fine."
"I never said we were that just that we needed to eat healthier. It's not good to be eating out every single night." Which was true. Even if we did order out instead of ordering the fries we should order the veggies. Luke worked out at least 3 days a week so whatever he ate he could burn off but I had no interest in working out. Sometimes I would go for a walk with Loki but when it's cold, like it is now, who wants to go walking with the dog and freeze their face off?
"If you want to eat healthier we can eat healthier." He answered going to the fridge. "You have nothing in here." He looked at me with a blank stare.
"I threw it all out. Besides the milk that's at your house." I continued to pack but knew that we should stop soon because it was getting dark and getting closer to dinner. "Should we head over to your place for dinner?" I asked. That way we could bring everything inside and then be able to eat.
"Whatever you wanna do." He answered grabbing a few bags and taking them down to the truck. I locked the door behind me and met him down at my car. I got into the front seat of my car and he got into the truck. "I'll meet you there." I smiled waving as I pulled out of the parking lot and drove to his place. I got there first so I started empty the things in my car into the garage that we would later find a place for. "What would you like for dinner?" He asked holding me by the hips.
"Whatever you want." I smiled. For the last few nights he's gone out and gotten me whatever food I wanted from whatever place I wanted it from. "Treat yourself baby." I giggled handing him twenty dollars. He kissed me before getting into his car and driving off.
*LUKE P.O.V*
McKinley thought that she was being nice and letting me choose what we got to eat but little did she know that I was spending the money on her. I picked out the prettiest flower's I could find before heading off to get us some salads and heading back to my place. When I walked inside she was rearranging things on the wall and turned to look at me.
"Welcome home." I smiled handing her the flowers and kissing her.
"Oh my gosh, you're so cute!" She smiled. "Thank you. They're beautiful." She hugged me. She went into the kitchen to put them in some water while I set our food out and waited for her to join me. "And what are we having mister?"
"I got us some nice salads with some grilled chicken."
"Look at us being healthy." She chuckled sitting down across from me. "All this for twenty dollars?"
"I chipped in." I answered getting up to grab myself a beer and pour her a glass of wine. "I'm willing to move around anything you want to to make you comfortable."
"I already moved some things around." She answered looking at me and I glanced around her to look at the living room.
"I see." She smiled a little.
"We don't have to keep it like that." She commented which I shook my head to.
"Do whatever you want, baby." I commented looking at her. She smiled and finished eating before getting up to sit on my lap. I held her by her thighs and kissed her. "And I'll do whatever I want." I whispered against her neck kissing it and gliding my hands under her shirt to unclip her bra.
She pulled my shirt over my head and ran her fingers through my hair before pulling me into her. I stood up and placed her down on the table taking her shirt and pants off.
"Where are your panties?" I questioned looking at her and she giggled looking at me. "Oh my god, you're hot." I groaned taking my pants off.
"Condom?" She questioned sitting up a little.
"Do we really need it?" I questioned a little annoyed that I would have to leave her to go get one.
"I would like to have one but I guess we don't need it." She laid back down. She was on birth control and we almost always used both but it'll be fine to go without it once. I licked my fingers and rubbed her clit and positioning myself at her opening. She hissed when I pushed into her.
"Does it hurt?" I asked.
"No just feels really good." She answered gripping the side of the table as I thrusted into her watching where my body met hers. "Luke." She moaned and didn't give me any warning to her clenching around me and cumming. "Yes!" She moaned sitting up to bring me closer to her.
I lifted her and carried her to the bedroom and laid her down.
"Lay down." She commented sitting up. I laid down watching her as she laid between my legs and grabbed my length and starting sucking.
"Babe." I moaned grabbing her hand to keep it out of her face. "You're amazing." I whispered watching her. She took me as far as she could and pumped the rest with her hand. "I'm gonna cum." I moaned letting her go so she could decide if she wanted to take it in her mouth or not. I moaned as I came and she ran to the bathroom. I chuckled as she came back. "You know you could just take your mouth off it." She laid next to me with her chin resting on my chest.
"But people say that spitters are quitters."
"Okay, well I don't. The only people who say that are men who have never tasted their own ejaculation and it probably taste like weed." She laughed making me smile. We cuddled while I played with her hair and she hummed at the feeling. "I love you." I whispered.
"I love you too." She held me tighter.
"We have to go food shopping tomorrow."
"Alright." She mumbled closing her eyes and pulling the blanket up to her face. "Good night." She leaned up and kissed me before rolling over onto her stomach. We liked to cuddle up until we were both pretty much asleep but she liked to sleep on her stomach and liked to have her own space while she slept.
I slept peacefully until Loki and the cat work me up by running around playing in the living room. I went to calm them down and feed them before cleaning up for when Ben came. The new sink and counter have been sitting in the living room for a week waiting for him to come.
I made some coffee and sat watching Netflix waiting for McKinley to wake up. This was usually the day that she slept in so I knew I would be out here by myself for at least another 2 hours. In that time I decided to take the dog for a walk. I got dressed and made she to get a coat to keep her warm and brought her downstairs after leaving a note for McKinley.
I walked for a little before heading into the pet store to get some treats for the cat and the dog. We really needed to come up with a name for the cat. I felt bad calling him the cat. He deserved more.
I paid for the items before heading back to the apartment and let Loki go to the bathroom before heading back up.
"Good morning." I said coming in to see McKinley watching Supernatural and eating a bowl of cereal.
"Morning." She smiled. "Your brother called, he'll be here in about two hours." She commented turning back to her show.
"Alright, I'm gonna go get the mail." I rushed down to the mail box going to get the mail and then headed back. "Did you get your mail switched over to her?"
"Yeah, I called them last week." She answered as I went through it.
"We also need to name the cat. What street did you find him at?" I questioned.
"Fifth. Name him whatever you want just please be quiet." I giggled heading to the guest bedroom to organize some things so at least Ben had somewhere to sleep.
Once he got here McKinley got dressed and we both headed out to go food shopping. We bought enough food for all of us for the next few days and I planned to make him a nice meal for doing this for us.
When we got back, the building manager was there checking in on how it was coming along.
"When should it be finished?" He questioned.
"A few days. It shouldn't take long." Ben answered while working. "I have my guys coming tomorrow to help me with a few things and it should be done by Monday. Tuesday the latest." I couldn't wait until it was done. It really started to feel like me and McKinley were serious. Next week will be a year since we started dating and I had a fancy night of drinks, dinner, and dessert planned. I had also bought her a necklace with my birth stone in it.
"Alright take your time. There's no rush." The manager said before making sure Ben had insurance and then heading out on his way. McKinley was organizing her things in our closet while I started on cooking dinner. I finally felt like this was a home and I was an actual adult. I had a live in girlfriend, I was getting my bathroom redone.
For the first time in my life I actually felt like I was an adult.
