Ryder took a deep breath then called out the fairy's name, "Pixie."
She froze. Her glowing stopped then she slowly turned her head to face Ryder.
Ryder glared at her, "What do you think you're doing?"
She immediately flew down in front of him.
"Well, I heard there was a human who was arrogant enough to want to visit me. I was going to teach it a lesson but—"
"Is this how you treat all your guests? How do you ever expect to be the queen like this. So childish," Ryder scolded.
She dropped to her knees and apologized.
"And now you lower your head to someone. It's not even the right person. Apologize to the girl you almost killed," Ryder seemed genuinely angry as well. I suppose he did not appreciate this little girl disrespecting his new friend.
She bit her lower lip, walked over to Kellian and apologized through gritted teeth.
Kellian, knowing full well this girl did not like her, wanted to tease her.
She spread her arms, "I'll forgive you, only because you're cute."
The young fairy did not hide her disgusted expression.
Kellian tilted her head and frowned cutely, "I thought we were friends now, I guess not."
Pixie's face screamed, "That's right bitch, now leave."
"Pixie." The area around Ryder seemed to drop a few temperatures.
This scared Pixie, so she hugged Kellian tightly. Kellian hugged back. The girl was soft and warm, but she felt something poking her during her hug. Was the girl wearing a necklace?
However, Ryder still seemed different.
Suddenly, Kellian felt something heading in her direction. She caught it just before it hit the princess. "An arrow with its head coated in poison?"
"An assassination attempt?" Pixie asked with a terrified expression.
Ryder ran in the direction the arrow came from. He came back shortly after, adjusting his clothes. However, Kellian noticed a red stain on the cuff of his shirt.
She skipped over to him, "What happened to the poor guy? Did you..."
"I only gave him a light beating."
"Oh really?" She sounded like she did not believe him as she stared at his wrist.
He followed her eyes, "I lied, but he's still breathing."
"Hmm, okay~ I don't like murderers."
Ryder laughed awkwardly, "What if there was a good reason?"
She considered the fact that she wanted to kill Heather. She desired to kill the people who hurt her friends. Then answered honestly, "Then it is justifiable."
"It is dangerous to remain outside. Pixie, lead the way." Ryder ordered.
Pixie seemed a bit upset but said nothing.
However, Kellian's eyes never left the diamond necklace resting prettily on Pixie's neck.
We walked to the castle. The walls were a slightly pink-tinted stone Kellian did not recognize, and the roof was bright pink. Because of her bond with Tyson, she could see the magic radiating off the building. It mesmerized her.
It seems the little girl loved the colour pink.
"What do you think of my castle?" Pixie asked as she grabbed Ryder's arm.
"It is... very pink," Ryder answered as he removed the girl.
"I know!" She said, excited.
"What about the old castle?" Ryder asked.
"We moved it with magic. In front of you is my palace and I can do with it what I want. Isn't that cool?"
"Oh," Ryder replied dryly to Pixie. Then re noticed Kellian staring blankly at the castle as she walked mindlessly. He flicked her forehead, "Don't get hypnotized by the magic, Blueberry."
"Hypnotized? I wasn't," She pouted. "Magic is just pretty."
"Prettier than what I showed you?" He whispered to Kellian, almost as if he were jealous.
She remembered the island Ryder showed her. It also had a beautiful aura to it. It must also be enchanted.
"No," she picked up that hint of jealousy and decided to answer him how he wanted her to.
Pixie pulled Ryder inside as the large doors. It seemed like she wanted to separate the two.
Kellian walked slower so she could talk to Tyson. She did not want to look like a crazy woman talking to herself as only she could see and hear him.
"Why am I so pulled towards this place?"
"Because of me, you're more sensitive to magic. As this magic isn't harmful, you like it." He answered.
"Thank you for explaining, Ty."
"No problem, M'lady."
"Now, about that necklace." Kellian wanted to confirm her suspicions.
"I want to talk to him," Tyson forced a smile, but she could feel that he was angry.
"So, Alistair has been found?" Kellian asked.
"Yes, and that bastard is with another woman. How dare he?" Tyson complained.
"Calm down, we'll get him back."
"Of course," Tyson nodded.
After ending her conversation with Tyson, Kellian ran after Ryder and the others.
Pixie sat everyone around a table and ordered her servants to serve tea.
"So, where did you pick her up?" Pixie asked Ryder.
"What?" He was confused.
"Your human." Pixie specified,
"She's neither an item nor a pet." Ryder corrected.
Pixie seemed annoyed. "Are you saying humans aren't wild animals? They are practically wild beats."
"Will you shut up? You know nothing about Kellian." Leo was the first to yell at her.
"Gasp! How dare a mere peasant yell at me!?"
"Well, if you're being insolent, what do you expect. And I am not a peasant."
"Ha, yeah, right. Sure," She mocked. "I don't particularly like humans, but this one seems tame. You seem happy owning her, so I wanted to know where I could get one like her for myself," Pixie continued talking to Ryder.
"She is not an animal. You can't 'own' her. You aren't allowed to comment on her or my relationship with her. Especially if you do not know anything about her or our relationship, it is just common sense. Judging someone or something you don't know and having a prejudice against people you don't know because of their race are the acts of mere serfs." Ryder commented as he sipped his tea.
"Agreed. It is undoubtedly rude to judge Kellian without knowing her." Dexter added.
She was embarrassed and wanted to seek justice for herself, "You should talk to your 'friends'. Even if what they say is true, the way they speak to royalty is disrespectful."
She was smart and pointed out a slightly different issue. She was careful not to deny what they said because that meant she would be denying Ryder as well.
Ryder replied, "I disagree."
"Huh?"
"Dexter only agreed with me. If you have a problem with him, you also have one with me. As for Leo, I can't control him."
"But he is under you so—"
"Leo is not a werewolf. And even if he was, he has a mind of his own and can share his opinion. I don't control my friends."
"He is not a werewolf?"
"And I'm not a peasant either, little girl. I am undoubtedly more royalty than you." Leo was clearly upset. He mentioned the life so desperately wants to forget just to anger the fairy girl in front of him.
"That can't be." She shook her head.
"Are you denying the superiority of the heir to the Devildom's thrown? Can your mere position as not even the first princess of the fairy kingdom compete?"
"What are you saying that..."
Everyone was shocked.
Kellian and the others knew he was a demon, but no one knew he was literally the prince of hell.
Pixie and her people, however, were in complete shock.
Kellian could feel Tyson's burning rage as well. He wouldn't be able to contain himself if Pixie said one more disrespectful thing about her.
She had to end this before a battle broke out.
"Pixie, your necklace is so pretty!"
"Huh?" Pixie was confused.
"Is your necklace special?" Kellian asked.
"Huh? Oh. Not really." She seemed nervous.
"Liar." Kellian accidentally said allowed.
"What!?" Pixie was furious, and her guards drew their swords.
Kellian glared at the guards, but some refused to back down. Ryder noticed. He had both the guards and the maids leave the room.
Kellian would be confronting Pixie about the relics anyway.
Leo excused himself and followed after the people Ryder essentially kicked out of the room,
"Oh! I didn't mean to say that out loud. Oh well, it's true either way. Isn't that right, Ty."
"What are you—" Tyson revealed himself, making Pixie lose her train of thought.
"Alistair. Get your ass out here right now." Tyson's hair looked like when you throw fuel into a small fire.
"Who? What? Fire?" Pixie questioned.
"How annoying." A woman revealed herself.
She had silver hair and eyes as dark as an abyss. She was well endowed and quite curvy.
"Ali, why did you come out?" Pixie asked, worried.
Pixie got ignored.
"How are you here? I thought you swore loyalty to Lady Lillian?" She questioned.
"I did. What about you? Do you allow any minger to wear you nowadays?" Tyson asked.
"What? Are you calling me a whore?" She asked, offended.
Tyson replied, "What the hell? No! I'm calling you a traitor."
"She's dead, Tyson. Besides, you have no right to judge me. You did the same thing." She glanced over at Kellian as she said that.
"No, I'm different. Lady Kellian is Lay Lillian's daughter." Tyson corrected.
"What?" The woman seemed stunned as she stared at Kellian.
Kellian sipped her tea as she watched the two argue.
"That is even worse. Imagine serving a murderer. The very thing that killed our master."
Tyson slapped the woman so hard she fell to the ground.
She grabbed her cheek and looked up at Tyson with a wronged expression.
"Ali!" Pixie yelled as she stood up to run over.
Ryder grabbed her hand and sat her back down. She was still trying to struggle.
"Stay out of this."The woman glared at the girl
"Yes, ma'am." Pixie sat obediently.
"Why are you a woman anyway?" Tyson asked the woman.
"Look at these girls," She said as she grabbed her bosoms. "How can I not be a woman, Silly."
Tyson seemed disgusted then changed the conversation to what it was before, "M'lady did not kill her mother."
"Then who did? The fly that was on the wall?"
"At least she is far superior to some pompous bitch with wings." Tyson crossed his arms.
The woman stared at Kellian then replied, "Well, that I can't deny it. The girl is quite beautiful. I would have gladly served her. If I didn't know her identity, that is."
"Then serve her, you bastard." Tyson rolled his eyes.
"Is she even worthy? Can she live up to Lillian's legacy?" The woman asked.
"She doesn't need to. She is her own person with her own capabilities. Do not compare her to the already deceased." Tyson's gaze was harsh.
"What? So this isn't just because she looks a bit like Lady Lillian. You actually submitted yourself to her because you wanted to?
"Of course. I will gladly sacrifice my life for M'lady is need be."
She looked shocked for a bit, then she ran her hand through her hair and sighed, "Fine. Fight me. If I win, you will serve the 'pompous bitch with wings' with me, and if you win, I will give Kellian a genuine chance."
"What!? You can't decide that on your own!" Pixie complained.
The woman's face darkened.
"Can't I? Don't tell me you actually feel like you own me." As she enunciated each word, the necklace around Pixie's neck tightened.
Pixie pulled on the necklace as she feared for her life.
"It would be best if you didn't have such thoughts anymore," She said cheerily with a bright smile. "Or else you might not be able to think any thoughts anymore after I find out," Her voice was still cheery, but she didn't smile.
When she finished her words, she smiled brilliantly.
"Anyway, deal." Tyson agreed to her offer.
She smirked, "Are you that confident you can beat me?"
Tyson answered, "Of course. Where will we battle?"
"The combined Headspace. If we are injured, we won't be able to serve our master properly." The woman explained.
"You're already referring to her as 'master'? It seems there is no need for the battle." Tyson mocked.
"What I was referring to– I can't even lie about that. That child is not worthy of the title master."
"So you were talking about M'lady?" Tyson questioned.
She answered, "No, I meant it generally."
"Sure you did." Tyson did not believe her.
