The bright light encapsulating the room where the Hammer of Justice was remained unyielding as the eight-cornered pentagram under the pedestal magically glowed and whirred. 

As the Chamberlain lingered for a few more moments to exalt the legendary artifact, a long shadow was casted upon the floor behind him, providing an opportunity for someone, or something, to appear mysteriously.

"It's quite bold of you to appear before me right after your enemies showed up," uttered Zero as he turned to face the emerging swordsman's silhouette from his shadow. "What can I do for you today, my child?"

The shadowy warlord, infamously known as "Pan the Reaper's Shadow", took a step forward and somehow managed to communicate with the head priest. "And, are they not yours? I'm not quite sure what you're trying to do, Father, but surely my master isn't going to be pleased once he finds out you favor the boy more than him with regards to the Log Panel."
