Chương 49: Chapter 49
" Axel, you're here too. " Kirishima said as he waved at his friend walking in with Rotate.
" Yeah. " Axel said as he walked towards Kirishima.
" It's good to see you Fat Gum. " Rotate said as he shook his colleague's hand.
" Same. We'll be having the same mission probably. " Fat Gum said.
" Most likely. " Rotate said.
" Hello, Amajiki. " Axel said as he greeted the 3rd year.
" Hello, Axel. " Amajiki said quietly but still looked at Axel.
They got along pretty well at school since they are usually both really quiet and anti-social. They walked to the meeting room where the other heroes were waiting.
" Axel! " Nejire yelled as she ran up to him.
" Hello, Hadou. " Axel said.
" Can you make a bunny? Maybe a bird? or a dragon? " Nejire asked rapidly.
" Sure. " Axel said as he created a bird out of his barriers. He controlled the bird to land on Nejire's arm.
" That's so cool. " Nejire said with stars in her eyes.
" That's some amazing attention to detail. " Amajiki said as he looked at the bird.
" Thanks. " Axel said. He had been training for this since Amajiki told him Nejire was really excited to see it happen.
" Alright. Sit down, everyone. " Said Sir Nighteye.
Everyone sat down in their respective seats as Nighteye went to the front.
" In a few days, we will depart on a mission to rescue her," Nighteye said as he pointed to the girl shown on screen.
She had blueish, off-white hair, which was messy and unkempt all the way down to her waist. On the right side of her forehead was a small horn and had red eyes. The most promenade thing, however, was the numerous bandages on her arms and legs.
The heroes waited patiently for Nighteye to continue but Midoriya and Mirio flinched as they saw her, something which most of the people in the room took note of.
" There have been numerous sightings of quirks disappearing in the past few days. The authorities found them being distributed in the black market and traced them back to this man. Kai Chisaki aka Overhaul.
He is the leader of the Yakuza and the one distributing the substance across Japan, in the form of bullets. When shot, the substance takes effect and removes the victim's quirk. " Nighteye said gravely.
It wasn't hard to figure out for any of the heroes in the room. Making something that has the ability to remove quirks would be possible with the help of a quirk. They looked at Nighteye who nodded.
" Yes. Her name is Eri. Her quirk is unknown but Overhaul places great concern over her, so it isn't surprising that she is the source. " Nighteye said seriously.
" When we manage to find their hideout and will be attacking them soon. Inside the folders is information about some of the members. " Nighteye stated.
The heroes nodded as they looked through the data. Most of them were angry at the fact that Eri was being used the way she was. Mirio and Midoriya had determined faces, as they both vowed to save her in their heads, to make up for the failure they had before.
Axel looked through the info with a blank expression but his eyes held cold rage behind them. He took a deep breath to calm down and looked through the info.
" We are still investigating their movements to track down their hideout. Till we find, make sure you are prepared as much as possible. "

Nighteyes agency managed to find the base of Yakuza, confirming its location with Nighteyes foresight.
The heroes were quickly assembled as they headed to the hideout. They were mostly silent during the trip as they prepared themselves for the fight.
" So, another day as a guard? "
" Yeah, man. Luckily, we just need to look out for anyone suspicious and inform the boss. It's pretty easy considering mist heroes wear bright and colorful hero suits. "
" I know. It's easy to spot most of the time. I've gotten used to that. "
" It's the ones that blend in that are a problem. "
" Anyone suspicious. "
" Nope. Besides, it's almost lunch. I don't think we have anything to worry abo... " He soon stopped as he looked at the giant dragon that appeared in front of the base.
" Oh shit. "

Ryukyu shipped her claw at the building, destroying it easily, knocking away the guards, and making the ones inside unconscious with serious injuries because of the debris falling on top of them.
The heroes rushed into the hideout immediately while the police took care of the yakuza thugs outside. While rushing in, they were soon in a bind as the walls shifted.
" Mirio, go by yourself and rescue Eri. They must not leave this place. " Nighteye yelled.
" Understood. " Mirio said as he phased through the walls.
As they tried to find the person responsible for changing the room, Mimic then separated the entire team.
Axel found himself in a room with 3 villains in front of him.
" Time to die. " One of them said as he immediately rushed towards Axel to take him out.
Axel just looked at the one rushing at him with a blank look on his face. He created rectangle barriers and slammed them into the villains hard to knock them out immediately.
With said on done, he looked at the walls and created a drill. He then burrowed his way through the walls and used his hoverboard to follow the drill.
He kept going till he came in contact with a hallway. Axel got off his hoverboard and walked through it.
' Considering Overhaul's destructive abilities, I'll just have to follow the noise to find him when he fights. For now, I'll look around. ' Axel thought.
Axel started walking down the hallway to locate anyone here, maybe even run into Overhaul. He found multiple rooms and entered them.
He found one that seemed to be a lab. He found multiple lab equipment on the shelf. He searched through them and noticed many things were missing.
It was expected since Overhaul wouldn't just have a bunch of bottles of the quirk destroying substance behind. He went towards the computer and looked at it.
He turns it on and it needed a password. Axel didn't know how to hack into computers, so he just stopped and looked for the drive. It was still there. He didn't know if all the data was destroyed by Overhaul or not but to be safe, he made a hammer and smashed it to pieces.
You can never be too cautious.
" Damn. You just destroyed it. " Axel looked to the entrance and saw Twice and Toga walking inside the room.
" Why did you do that? It could still have important info. " Twice yelled.
" No, you did well by destroying it. Wouldn't want it in the wrong hands? " Twice said after.
Axel stared at him with a blank face. His eyes looked to his left to see Toga standing there trying to stab him in the head with a knife but got blocked.
Clicking her tongue, she jumped back.
" Damn. I could have taken you out. " Toga said as her mind worked fast to try a way out.
" I guess. " Axel said as he walked away to the door.
" Wait so your not going to capture us? Thank you but you'll regret it later. " Twice said.
" Maybe. " Axel said as he looked at Twice.
" Quick question though. Can Overhaul heal himself? " Axel asked as he looked at the both of them.
" Yes, he can. " Twice said. " You idiot, why did you say that? I don't know. "
" Good. " Axel muttered as he walked out the room.
Toga and Twice looked at him. They could hear the underline threat in that word. Toga got excited.
" Twice. Let's go watch. I feel like something interesting is going to happen. " Toga said happily.
" I know but if that doesn't happen, you owe me a burger. " Twice said.
" Sure. Hurry up though. " Toga said.
They soon caught up to Axel who stared at them with an eyebrow raised.
" Hey, I have a quick question. Can I have some of your blood? " Toga asked.
" No. "
" Please. "
" No. "
" Pretty please. "
...
" No. "
* boom *
The entire base shook as Axel, Toga, and Twice felt it shake. Axel quickly created a hoverboard and flew away from the other 2.
" That's so cool. I'm not jealous. I am. " Twice said.
" He didn't offer us a ride. How rude. " Toga said as she pouted. She soon smiled before dragging Twice with her to the action.
They were excited.
