Chương 49: Yahiko's Return and Sakira Namikaze

Yone was quite happy that Sakura didn't disappoint him as she went to the hospital every day to train under Tsunade or better said Shizune when Tsunade was too busy to teach her.

This also influenced some of the other kunoichis to learn Medical Ninjutsus giving Tsunade the chance to increase the Shinobies that can support their team in a life-threatening situation.

But while Tsunade was occupied with her new students Yone was looking into Mizuki's past when his eyes landed on a small vial with a black thorn in it.

'To think that I forgot about this after all this time,' thinks Yone holding the vial before shaking it making the thorn move around inside it.

"Maybe you are the answer to Itachi's sickness," says Yone knowing that it was just wishful thinking which wouldn't lead to a cure for Itachi.

He remembered that the person who held the thorn tried to possess his body by using the thorn that went through him thanks to his flame body.

"It most likely is only a curse instead of a blessing," says Yone to himself before returning to his duty when someone entered the room.

"Yone, it has been a long time since we talked to each other," says Hiruzen making Yone look at the old man suspiciously since Hiruzen would only come to find him in Yone's office if it was a serious matter.

"What happened this time?" asks Yone curious about what Hiruzen would say next.

"I came to you as a mediator for Shikaku, Chosa, and Inoichi. They want their children to form a team as it is a tradition in their clans," says Hiruzen as Yone wasn't surprised by that.

Yone had split up most of the teams making most of the famous Ino-Shika-Cho split up into other teams in which they would function better but they were branch members and not from the main family.

"Tell them that I have already placed them in one team under your son's command. That is if they graduate," says Yone to Hiruzen who seemed relieved when Yone says, "I would have never separated them since they are from the main family. They need to be able to lead their clans in harmony in the future after all."

"Good, I knew that I didn't need to worry about it," says Hiruzen feeling relieved when Yone stops him.

"Since you are already here let us talk about your grandson, Konohamaru," says Yun in a more threatening tone.

"What did the boy do this time?" asks Hiruzen nervously since Konohamaru was a little troublemaker.

"He isn't taking school seriously which makes him fall behind all the other students in his grade. I am getting worried that he will be the first Sarutobi that will fail to become a Shinobi if he continues to follow on that path," says Yone warning Hiruzen about his grandson maybe failing to become a Ninja.

"What can I do to motivate him?" asks Hiruzen when Yone stands up putting the vial on the desk.

"How about he receives some special training from a Jonin," says Yone when Hiruzen sits down on the couch while Yone sits across from him.

"Konohamaru is already being taught by Ebisu. Do you think that he needs another tutor?" asks Hiruzen as Yone shakes his head.

"Ebisu can continue to teach him but I want someone to keep him in line," says Yone as Hiruzen seemed to like the idea.

"Who do you have in mind?" asks Hiruzen curious when Hori entered the room.

"You wanted to see me?" asks Hori in his usual cold tone as he approaches his father which made a smile appear on Hiruzen's face.

"I want you to teach Hiruzen's grandson until he graduates from school. Your job will be shared with another Jonin called Ebisu which will make it only a part-time job giving you enough time to date Izumi," says Yone to Hori while Hiruzen was confused about who this Izumi is.

"How much will I get paid?" asks Hori curious when Yone looked at him seriously.

"You get paid with food and a warm bed. You aren't even paying for anything at him just do me this favor and teach that kid before I throw you out on the street you, ungrateful bastard," says Yone jokingly at the end.

"Fine," says Hori still emotionless when he asks, "What about Naruto's training?"

"Let Hana and Hina deal with it," says Yone knowing that Hana has enough time on her hands since she is single again.

"Alright," says Hori before leaving the room again.

"He isn't going to kill my grandson, right?" asks Hiruzen a bit nervous because he couldn't differentiate Hori's mood by face or voice not like with Yone who showed them openly.

"He won't," says Yone with confidence in his voice that relieved Hiruzen a lot.

"Well, if everything is settled how about a drink," says Yone pulling out of nowhere a bottle of sake and two cups to drink from.

"Just one glass," says Hiruzen as they drink one glass before going their separate ways.

Yone then finished the preparations for the graduation test this year before returning home. He was quite happy since his grandson would be graduating soon.

He was about to enter his house when he saw blood on the ground. He kneels down and touches it with his index and middle fingers before moving them before his eyes.

'It is still warm,' thinks Yone as he turns serious and takes a kunai in his right hand before opening the door, finding Hana and Hina treating a person who had lost an arm and an eye with spiky orange hair and one brown eye.

"Yahiko?!" says Yone confused as he rushes in letting go of his kunai.

"Hana go get Tsunade while I and Hina treat him," says Yone when Tsunade enters the house with Hana's clone holding a first-med kit in her hands.

"I already did," says an exhausted Hana since Tsunade was the best option to deal with those injuries.

Tsunade rushed over asking them to make way so she could treat Yahiko who was still alive thanks to Hana's and Hina's rapid actions of treating him right away.

Yone was holding his forehead smearing the blood all over it while asking himself, 'Who has done this to Yahiko and where are Nagato and Konan?'

Tsunade patched him up quite fast before Yone wanted to take him upstairs to let him rest in a bed but Tsunade stopped him because he was full of blood making Hana take Yahiko upstairs with Hina since they cleaned themselves while Tsunade was treating Yahiko.

They take them upstairs while Tsunade looks at Yone who seemed anxious because of what happened to Yahiko when she says, "Everything is alright. He will make it to see another day."

"Thank you," says Yone trying to hug Tsunade who stopped him.

"First we need to get you and the house cleaned up. Then we can talk about you hugging me," says Tsunade hinting at Yone that he was covered in Yahiko's blood.

"You are right," says Yone as he leaves to clean himself up while Tsunade began to clean the house.

She left Shizune to deal with her new students and the hospital in the meantime since Yahiko was more important at the moment. Yahiko is a Missing-Nin of Konoha. He couldn't just walk into the hospital and get treated by them and not face some punishment.

He did the right thing to get home for help. Yone was taking a shower when he began to think what could have happened to the trio for Yahiko to look like this.

He left the shower and changed into new clothes finding Hana looking over the sleeping Yahiko while Hina was helping Tsunade clean the house. Yone joined his wife and daughter before cleaning the entrance when he sees Kushina looking at him.

"Did something happen?" asks Yone worried that Minato has found out that Yahiko had returned.

"He hasn't found out yet but it is a matter of time," says Kushina seeing Yone destroying the evidence of Yahiko's return.

"He is your brothe-," says Yone when Kushina interrupts him.

"He was my brother. You know that I can't side with you even if I love Yahiko as a brother. I am the wife of the Hokage," says Kushina telling Yone that she couldn't cover for Yahiko if Minato asks her about it.

"I know, but something serious must have happened," says Yone feeling pity since Yahiko wouldn't be able to be a Ninja again with only one arm and one eye.

"He is just a normal person now that he has lost an arm and an eye. He won't be able to harm anyone in the village even if he wanted to," says Yone trying to reassure his oldest that Yahiko won't be a threat to the village.

Kushina only sighs when a girl with red hair appeared from behind her legs still hugging it. Yone smiled immediately seeing the girl as he goes to grab her only to throw her into the air making her giggle loudly.

"Now does our Sakira love it," says Yone as Sakira was the second child between Minato and Kushina she came physically after her mother while mentally she was like her father going by how intelligent she is with only four years.

"Yes, grandpa," says Sakira happy as she stretches her hands out making it look like she could fly before Yone catches her and tosses her into the air again repeatedly.

Yone soon placed her on his shoulders as she placed her hands on his forehead to maintain her balance. She learned earlier not to grab a person by their hair as she almost ripped out the hair of Jiraiya by accident when she was younger.

Kushina took Sakira back before saying, "Deal with the situation rapidly. There are many people that would use this matter to kick Minato out of office."

"I will deal with it in secrecy. Nobody will even know that Yahiko was in the village," says Yone seriously making Kushina remember that her father wasn't a simple man.

Kushina then leaves with Sakira while Yone returned inside alarming everyone not to talk about Yahiko being back in Konoha for the time being.
