The main character is a woman that never gives up even she lost everything. The spicy details mixed to funny details amazed me. I think this story is good and well written, so I suggest to try it 😉
This is probably my favorite novel on here and one of the most enjoyable reads I’ve encountered in a long, long while in any medium. The chemistry and trust between the main characters really drives the story and you can tell that the author took great care to really plot out all the details, dropping all kinds of clues from the very beginning until the big reveal, which I didn’t realize until my first re-read while I was waiting for new chapters 🥰. I also love that the ML loves and respects the FL and is fully supportive of her and allows her to make her own decisions. I also love the influence of true historical events in this alternative history, and you can tell the author went to great lengths to create a fresh world that is still steeped in reality and its established rules and that none of the characters suddenly change with no rhyme or reason. This story is so satisfying and I’ll be sad when it ends and I envy those who will get to read this hidden gem for the first time.

wow this was or is a very interesting story.its my best novel so far(I am a fan of historical romance )
This is just awesome!!!!!The male lead is si supportive and always tends to respect and support the female lead ...while both ML and FL are people with big brains. Author has written it in an awesome way tho Alexander seems like he is crazy at first and kind of a mind reader but later every thing just makes sense.Love this story a lot.All the characters so far are just awesome even the side characters like Emperor , Empress Grandmother ,Princess Lyland and Lady Layana and so on, they don't do out of there character thing I mean they don't change there ways just like we real world humans. Theodora is a character with great sight, she manages to make things work in her way. I do love the way they planned and plotted everthing, especially when they planned their moves to take down the Dowager Empress, and the way she talks in her mind while she is in middle of somethings. Hightly recommended. You are gonna love it. And it does not have any sort of harem and all they are very loyal to each other which makes things hundred times better.

This is definitely one of my favorite novels on this site. I could not stop reading it! I highly recommend this, and it needs way more attention!
I really enjoyed this book. It had a good storyline and the plot flowed well. Many lovable characters and many villains to loathe. A story you want to complete.

A very nice story, the queen is strong and amusing, the duke is powerful but caring. I love their interaction. The attrection is nicely built. Definitely, it will be one of my favourite!
I found this novel on the recommendation list and I was not disappointed! It’s a fantastic historical novel. Writing is consistent, character development exceptional, and the author has the ability to suck you in… I just couldn’t put it down. The relationship between the leads was so relatable. There is a warmth in the story from the very first word you read. Despite being a court drama, the love story is very pleasing and touching and hot. The writing quality is classy and the vocabulary and author's voice absolutely suit the royal setup. The story is completed and chunky. Characters are absolutely wonderful; the MC is spunky and the ML is charismatic and you know this right from the very first chapter. World is wonderfully set up too. The expositions do not feel forced and rather go with flow of the story. Lastly, the story deserves every bit of the success it has achieved. Great work, author, and I am sure you future works will be equally or even more successful!

i really love the plot of this story, but i'm still wondering where the author got the idea that thea wanted to divorce first so they could choose for themselves from the beginning even tho they were already married and have a child😂

This book is one of good stories on Webnovel. You will find good character development and many kinds of emotion through reading. I love the main climax, it hit me so hard!
The pnly reason i gave it a four is just due to to dome minor errors in grammer and usage of some words that were used incorrectly; othereise i enjoyed reading and re-reading it many times
i’m a bit confused on how the Duke is portrayed as “sweet” but in reality he comes off as controlling and manipulative. he basically controls every aspect of fo life and forced her to be his wife. the fl is meant to be a Queen whose really smart but she doesn’t even stand up for herself against the duke and falls prey to his charms. she can’t even come up with a proper escape plan, for someone who claims to be desperate to save her country she doesn’t do much.
This is a good story. I really enjoy the characters and the storyline. The suspense is good. I would recommend this to anyone.[img=recommend]

This was my first webnovel and I loved it! The FL is different from most, which makes the story interesting. The author is meticulous in her writing and story development. You can tell the hard work that goes into each chapter. There are funny moments and heartwrenching ones. Thank you for the wonderful story!

If ever there was a book on this platform that I would beg to have in a hardback novel, or even as a manga, it would be this masterpiece. This author has an incredible sense of how to develop characters and weave mystery and intrigue into the vivid world she creates. I was in the highest privilege catagory the entire time because I was addicted to the story.

This is just so beautiful, I love how everything is going perfectly and their dreams are coming true, I hope we get a plot twist and thea can keep working in the palace from time to time 😉
If you want a story that is very unique and yet great to read, this one is perfect. it has kept me interested and on my toes the wntire time. the author gives so many sirprises that There is nothing dull in it. and the ‘romantic’ scenes are well thought out and written. overall this story is just all about ound a great read and a fun story.

Just a warning (half of a spoiler): the Duke does seem a crazy one, his purposes might be irrational, but there's a reason for it. Don't get scared (like the Queen did), please. Just continue reading the story, and you'll eventually find out the cause of his 'craziness'. I hope you'll give a chance to "Crazy Duke and Fallen Queen" :D I'll surely do my best to write it.
