Chương 2: 2.Little brother's illness

She walked out of hospital. Thinking about the time passed.
1 June 1995
A girl was looking at sunrise from garden in front of the orphanage . Today was quite peaceful at the orphanage . Everyone was worried about the kid who was sent to the hospital after fainting .
Yesterday, kids were playing in the garden when suddenly a kid named Yash , fainted . Kids panicked and called Grandma . Grandma took Yash to the hospital.
Grandma is the lady who takes care of the orphanage. Kids call her grandma . This was already fifth time that Yash fainted. So, she took him to hospital . All children were worried so ,they were praying for Yash. Everyone thought Yash was seriously ill as he was always weak and now he fainted again .
The girl we talked about initially was praying to sun , to shine brightfully over her little brother and protect him . She is the oldest kid at orphanage and thus she often takes care of them . She considers all kids as her siblings . They only had each other to rely on after all .
In the hospital, when doctors heard about his medical history suggested to take him to Neurologist . As the neurologist in that hospital was away for seminar , Grandma stayed at hospital for the night as going back to village and coming back city will cost her more .
There was other workers at orphanage who can take care of kids .
When doctors came , he checked the boy, and ordered to take CT scan . Earlier grandma was worried she didn't brought enough money , so , she called orphanage if there was any money left from monthly allowance from govt.
There wasn't any . Just as she was worried about fees , she heard the doctor say don't worry about my fees , you can proceed with tests first . The doctor was kind .
After she showed CT scan results , doctor said it is brain tumor called glioma .He explained the location and treatment course . He also told grandma about certain programs which help those who need money for medical treatment. The doctor has heard about grandma , as she often comes to hospital general ward with children at orphanage for check up . So, he knew, she manages orphanage . So, he helped her .
Grandma was thinking about how to continue with the treatment so, she was relieved after hearing that. She can also get some money from government so , now the question was when can he get the surgery . The doctor booked the surgery 2 months later . And explained about postoperative chemotherapy treatment also . He gave medication for headache and nausea and told Yash to be careful .
Grandma returned to orphanage at evening .
