After being rid of that beast, I staggered my way back indoors, my muscles aching, my eyes heavy and my joints stiff. I absentmindedly wandered just to the nearest surface which I could use to sleep.
I collapsed on a bed, almost instantly passing out, though my sleep was not without disturbance. I again found myself out at sea, the waves rising and falling in the distance, seemingly having no effect on the keep I found myself in.
I was in an unseen part of this castle, a balcony, overlooking a courtyard, with the sea just behind it. The same being was stood to my left, his bright eyes putting a level of comfort in me, though his appearance of just a black void didn't help put my mind at ease.
