Anxiety and impatience were two important factors that were aroused by the anticipation for the two days to fly by, eventually leading to the end of the week; the day of the photo shoot.
Impatience had taken the lead role because no matter Histoire's efforts to entertain or distract herself, or at least gain some patience, the hour would intentionally stretch itself out as though to vex her. She had no distractions like school since she took those two days off, and a very short moment of reprieve was when Dr. Amin appeared for a scheduled check up.
The two days turned into what felt like a very long week. And after this very long week, metaphorically, it was finally the morning when she would have to leave for the photo shoot.
By then, the pain in her ankle was barely noticeable.
