Chương 11: This is Sparta!!

"1000$?" Luke asked in a ridiculing manner. Which hospital did cost that expensive just for treating an injury shoulder? Unless it needs to get operated on or something.

"Yeah! 1000$ You can't pay it?" The bald-guy then proceeds to lift his fist and clenched it to frighten Luke.

"Better rob my entire family if you wanted 1000$," Luke sharply replied as he stared the bald-guy back.

"You sure got a pretty high gut, kid." The bald-guy then turned around and said to his underlings, "If we encounter this type of people, what should we do?"

"Kill!" Bald-guy member yelled in chorus.

"Kill!"

'Truly exaggerating.' Luke rolled his eyes at the scene unfolded in front of him as he prepared his stance silently. If these men really planned to kill someone, surely they wouldn't be here walking back and forth without getting arrested.

The bald-guy then turned to Luke and threatened, "Hear what they just said? If you don't want to pay, then you must know that your life would probably end he-" Before the man finished his words, Luke dashed promptly and threw his right fish toward the man's stomach.

Although Luke launched a sudden attack, the man was after all an experienced fighter. Recovering from the shock, he quickly covers his stomach by moving his left hand in front of his stomach.

*Bang*

As their flesh collided, the man took a few steps back before able to regain his balance. Whereas Luke was astonished by the strength he was exerting just now.

'My power really improved, huh?'

Luke was aware that the man in front of him already experienced many battles and on a different tier with Johny's lackey. Even so, he still could force the man back and gained an upper-hand.

Losing to someone was a daily occurrence between fighters. But getting defeated by someone unknown who's probably younger than him would undoubtedly become a shameful experience and laughing stock.

Steadying himself, the man prevent his subordinates from joining the fight, "Don't interfere. I want to beat this guy by myself."

Every person in the world definitely had their own pride, even a thug!

"Are you done? Let's settle our business end now!" Luke said as he stormed his way toward the man and abruptly jumped before flipping his body while launching a deadly kick-attack, targeting the man's forehead.

Unlike before where he's getting caught off guard by Luke's sudden attack. The man is now witnessing each of Luke's moves and is already prepared beforehand for the incoming attack.

Instead of blocking the attack as any other fighter does, the man chooses to confront the attack with another attack. Raising his hand, the man punched it toward the incoming leg.

Realizing the man's intention wasn't defending, Luke instantly changed his leg direction. If by any chance his ankle was the one that received the man's fist. He couldn't tell whether he'll escape from this district safe and sound. Hence, to avoid unnecessary injuries, Luke had to swallow his initial goal and unleash an attack with a low-risk injury.

Using his foot, Luke slammed it to the man's fist. Due to him being in mid-air, Luke couldn't exert his full strength and was forced to retreat by the man's fist.

Using the man's fist as the foothold, Luke quickly jumped backward.

Not wasting this opportunity, the man bolted from his initial place, once he saw Luke leaped.

As soon as he landed on the ground, Luke was immediately faced with a fist coming straightly into his face. With his dexterity stat being at the top, Luke's speed was drastically improved from the last time he fought against Johny and his lackey. Confronted by the man's fist, Luke simply shifted his head and rammed his knee against the man's stomach.

*Blurg*

The man immediately coughed once Luke's knee hit him on the spot. Before the man able to retreat, Luke starts pounding his stomach using his knee once more.

"Boss Liyan!" His subordinates exclaimed as they marched together toward Luke.

Seeing the Liyan's underlings coming, Luke speeding his beating process and proceed launched a final blow. After getting assaulted by Luke's continuous attack, Liyan's eyes were already unfocused while his body almost collapsed. Oblivious to Luke's intention, the man suddenly felt his chest sunk as his breathing stopped for a moment.

"This is SPARTA!" Luke feverishly yelled as he stomped his foot powerfully at Liyan's chest, resulting in him collapse on the ground instantly, while his eyes rolled slowly into his head.

Looking at Liyan's collapsed body, Luke didn't dare to relax, knowing a mob approached him. Trying to catch his breath, Luke was about to escape when he felt someone's presence behind him. Without a second thought, Luke lowered his body and saw a foot were passed through above him.

'If it weren't for my quick reflex, I would be kicked now.' Luke thought to himself before sliding his leg in a circular motion in a counter-clockwise direction.

Sensing Luke's movement, the assaulter jumped on his feet and dodged Luke's attack by a slight.

Realizing his attack ended up as a failure, Luke didn't get dejected and immediately launched an uppercut to the assaulter's face direction.

Without a second thought, the assaulter decisively retreat by leaped backward.

"You're not going anywhere." Liyan's group members bellowed as they were circling Luke to prevent him from going anywhere.

"Sh**!" Luke cursed when he realized he was getting surrounded.

With no gaps being visible, Luke was slowly cornered by Liyan's group member.

'If this continues, I'll surely get doomed.' Luke thought to himself before his eyes stopped at Liyan's collapsed figure. With wicked idea struck his mind, Luke immediately picked the body up and twirled his hand around Liyan's neck, "One more step, I'll make sure your boss wouldn't come out alive from this place."
