Chương 110: THE TRUTH BEHIND YOUR BACK

NARRATOR'S POV

                After leaving Morte castle, Brennan went to the nearby town in the west- just a little further from the castle. From there he found help, a stranger kind enough to take him back to Sentry town where Clara is.

Standing outside her shop, Brennan was nervous, to say the least. It was never a good feeling to deliver such dreadful news. Battered and bruised, he knocked on the door using his good arm- refusing to move his broken arm any further.

Unlike the first time he was here, the door immediately opened. Revealing Clara, her hair is messy, bags are forming under her eyes, while her clothes are disheveled, and her face was paler than Brennan remembered. She looked like a mess, and clearly, she's in distress.

With wide eyes, she stares at Brennan, "Oh" she began, her voice is quite hoarse.

"Brennan it's you" she continued, her eyes full of questions- searching for something.

Well, more like… someone.
