Ryusei's smile faded slightly as he uncrossed his arms and turned to face them. "That's why we're here—to guide them. We won't just be teaching them jutsu. Naruto's grin widened. "Of course Anon's going all out! I wouldn't expect anything less from him."
Sakura, however, looked slightly concerned. "Is it wise to give them that much power so soon? We've seen how dangerous these techniques can be if not handled properly."
Ryusei's expression grew serious. "Anon knows what he's doing. He's been through more than most shinobi, and he understands the risks. The Void Anbu are necessary—especially now. With these reforms, we need a specialized force that can eliminate threats before they even become a problem."
Naruto folded his arms, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, especially with the political stuff going on. The other villages are getting a bit… jealous of how quickly we're growing. Having Anbu that can move through time and space will help us keep an edge."
Sasuke's eyes darkened as he looked toward the horizon. "Jealousy is the least of our concerns. The other villages are watching us closely. They know we've changed. But they're also wondering if we've become too powerful. It's only a matter of time before they start testing our strength."
Ryusei placed a hand on Sasuke's shoulder, his voice calm but firm. "That's why we're preparing now. We've trained for years, mastering these powers. The next step is ensuring that the Leaf Village is protected from every angle—physically, politically, and in the shadows."
Naruto clenched his fists, his expression determined. "We won't let anything happen to the village. Not while we're here."
As the conversation settled, a group of senior shinobi approached the four of them. The lead shinobi, a member of the elder council, greeted them with a respectful nod. "Ryusei, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, we're glad you could make it. The elders have been discussing the final stages of the reformation plan. We'd like your input."
Sakura raised an eyebrow. "Reformation? Is this about the restructuring of the shinobi forces?"
The elder nodded. "Yes. After the war and the battles with Orochimaru's forces, we realized that our traditional methods aren't enough. We need to restructure the way we operate—more efficient, more strategic. We'll be integrating a cross-village communication system with our allies. Naruto looked surprised. "Wow, they're really going all out with this, huh?"
Sasuke remained stoic, his mind already thinking ahead. "We'll need these changes if we're going to survive what's coming."
Ryusei, always forward-thinking, nodded thoughtfully. "The Leaf Village is evolving. These reforms are necessary. We're not just preparing for the enemies we know. We're preparing for the unknown as well."
