"The banquet..." Louis finally answered her question, her eyes cast down on the bottle of rum she's holding in her hand, twirling it as she talked. "I met dad again at the night of your welcome banquet."

"What?" Lara's mind suddenly went to an abrupt halt when she finally discovered a piece of the truth about that night. "You-… You were at the banquet?"

Louis gave her an annoyed look. "You have an irritating habit of repeating yourself, don't you?" 

Lara didn't reply as she slowly pieced together the events of that night. The painting of the girl. The young Lord accused her of killing his younger sister. Her fainting. Her father covered up the events of last night. Suddenly, things are making sense now.

"Mm, Velhellan rum is the best!" Louis exclaimed. Her satisfaction brimming on her face as she drank from the bottle again. "Mmmarvelous!"

"…Father was trying to hide your existence from me, wasn't he?"
