Chương 12: Chapter 12
Fran: "What's the matter Bon did you think you would be able to sit on my back when you got back? I told you didn't I that I wouldn't let you relive that moment again didn't I."
While Bon was getting Fran's lunch box Fran lifted himself up using fire magic and then used ice magic to create a seat made out of ice. Even if he couldn't move his body anymore he could still use magic. The seat wasn't pretty by any means but it was enough to allow him to be in a sitting position which is all he needed.
Bon: "Come on now did you really think I was childish enough to do it again. I'm a grown man. No need to be so serious it was just a joke. I'm still eating your lunch box though since I'm hungry. Once I'm done with eating I hope you're able to move again because we will resume your training right away."
After 10 minutes Bon finished eating.
Bon: "Get up, it's time to resume your training."
Fran after resting for a while is able to get up.
Bon: "I think you've realized this yourself already after using magic and it's that you can only release magic from your body. You can't make ice or fire magic appear anywhere else. For teaching that's about all I can teach the rest is up to you with training. I recommend you first train on controlling magic because that will be the most useful to you for now."
Fran: "So there's nothing else you have to teach me about how magic works right."
Bon: "Unless I forgot something that should be everything I know about magic that you will need.
After that Fran started his training and continued it until it got dark.
Bon: "It's already dark so stop and go back to the inn to get some rest. If you overwork yourself your body won't be able to handle the stress of using magic so much so soon. Oh but I do recommend you do stretches when you wake up and before you go to sleep everyday since having a flexible body and being in shape will help you out in fights."
Fran: "Ok."
Bon: "Do you want to stay and have dinner with me? I can cook for you since I ate your lunch."
Fran: "I'll pass, don't feel like staying near you any longer than I need to."
Bon: "Come on now you can word it a little nicer or just made an excuse you're going to hurt me."
After hearing Bon's sarcastic remark Fran leaves and heads back to the inn.
Fran: "Hey Hana, are you still working."
Hana: "Ya i will be working until midnight."
Fran: "That's a shame I was going to invite you to dinner but I guess you can't if you're still working."
Hana: "Sorry about that I do want to go eat with you but I'm afraid I can't tonight."
Fran: "It's alright don't worry about it I'll just go get something to eat by myself. Good luck with your work. I don't want to bother you for too long. I'll see you tomorrow good night."
Hana: "Good night."
Fran goes to eat and when he's done he goes back to his room and does his stretches as he recommended.
Fran: After learning the basics of magic from Bon I think I might change my mind and pick him as the one I kill. It will serve as a good way to evaluate my skills after my month of training. If I can't kill him, how do I expect to survive outside of this village? Plus it seems that he has caught on that I was planning on killing Hana so seeing his surprise when I'm going to kill him might be amusing. Well now what do I do with Hana? I only talked to her since I needed to build a relationship with her so she could get attached to me for when I killed I could get some sort of reaction of betrayal. But I guess I will just keep acting the same with her since it'll still be amusing how this plays out with her. Not like I lose anything by it if anything it works out well since she makes me lunch.
