Eventually, Grandma gave in and agreed to go.

Knowing that she might have to give blood as part of the examination, Ye Tianxin and her grandmother skipped breakfast.

It was peak travel time for people commuting to and from work, so Ye Tianxin and her grandmother were only able to board the bus after much difficulty.

Although their journey was only a few stops, Ye Tianxin felt like it'd never end!

When they arrived at the hospital, Ye Tianxin first took her grandmother to the area outside the doctor's office, where she informed the assistant doctor of the purpose of their visit. The assistant doctor then issued Ye Tianxin a stack of test slips and asked her to take her grandmother to get the required tests done.

Ye Tianxin took her grandmother to the test center to have her blood drawn.
