After showing off to Ye Fanxing, Zhao Jiaqi sent Gu Yuzhe a text, "I've booked our tickets to Dali, we leave Saturday morning. Are you coming straight to the airport, or should I come stay at your place and we can leave together?"
Her relationship with Gu Yuzhe had always been lukewarm. It always felt like Gu Yuzhe wasn't particularly enthusiastic, and Zhao Jiaqi hoped to more clearly define their relationship soon.
After all, she was now eighteen, no longer a child.
Gu Yuzhe sat in his room, yet to catch his breath. The sun had scorched him so much that it felt like a layer of his skin had been peeled off. His face was burning hot and painful. But, what was even more suffocating was Ye Fanxing's reaction.
It was at this time that he saw Zhao Jiaqi's text.
"You go yourself, I'm not going," he typed back with one hand on his phone.
He was now agitated and had no mood to go out and play.
