Chương 86: Indulgence

Lucas was not appeased with drinking from a cup, no matter how expensive the glassware was. His teeth were itching to pierce into the soft skin of a human's neck. His thirst quenched as the thick liquid filled the space in his mouth but it was not enough. 

There was just no excitement drinking from such lifeless goods. 

He could not feel the nervousness of the volunteer as he sank his teeth in, he could not feel the warmth of skin as he sucked the blood out and he could not feel the gushing of such delightful nectar as it entered his mouth. 

If only he was not exposed to such fine taste, he would have indulged himself in any playthings as he used to by now. Alas, nothing taste as good anymore.

His deep dark blue eyes swept across the room, staring at each one of his friends wondering whether this was the norm for them.
