Chương 37: Littleroot Town
Jason regained his consciousness after 2 hours, when he woke up his head suddenly ached and he sat holding it. His pokemon were happy to see him awake but sad seeing his reaction. Jason looked around to his pokemon and gave them a weak smile. Finally he turned back to look at mew who handed him a berry which was new for Jason, Jason ate that berry and within few minutes his pain was gone.
"What happened to me ?" Asked Jason.
'Nothing, I just unlocked your Aura so now you can make more better cubes.' Said mew and smiled cutely with the thought of tasty cubes. Jason knew that he had only few cubes left so he distributed those among his pokemon except for new born tow pokemon who wanted that but Jason gave them milk bottle instead of that. Jason can now feel his aura and differ exact power level of his pokemons, he tried picking up Larvitar and was easily able to pick him up, though after few minutes he got tired and placed Larvitar back on ground.
'Your potential is unlocked, but your body is still new to it, so it will take some time but I know you can control it in few days.' Said Mew.
Jason thanked her started doing meditation, after few hours of meditation at around 6 in evening he was feeling refreshed so he planned on making cubes. He started cooking food and also cubes, he made cubes for next 3 hours and prepared plenty of cubes, he offered some cubes to mew and she took it, after eating it she circled around Jason in happiness.
Jason gave those cubes to his pokemon for dinner and after they finished eating Jason could feel that power percent in each pokemon was increased by 10% where as previously it use to increase by 3% only. Jason mixed two cubes in each bottles of milk and gave that shake to new born babies, this was best way to give them solid food and this won't harm them as its made of berries.
After finishing all that Jason picked up the aura book and he was able to open next 200 pages, so he now know that his aura power is increased tremendously. He found few special recipe to increase potential of Riolu and baby pokemons but the ingredients were impossible to find in marts or black market, those were only available deeper in the Wastelands.
Mew seemed to understand what he thought and she vanished then returned back with so many berries and different ingredients for Jason to prepare new cubes and told him to hurry as she wanted to taste it as well. Jason just smiled and prepared some cubes which were sufficient for 2 months and some to send back his home. His speed in making of cubes was also tripled by the increase in aura so he was able to make number of cubes which he usually made in 2-3 days.
He gave some newly made and previously made cubes to Mew and she vanished with those and returned bare handed, then she took 2-3 cubes and ate those.
Next day Jason gave those cubes to Riolu and other new born baby pokemons. His pokemon were showing increase in their power and better control on elements. Mew told Jason that she will come to meet him but he have to promise that he will give tasty cubes whenever she comes and Jason agreed with a smile. Mew also gave him a Sword and said, 'This will help you in coming future.' Jason kept that sword in his back pack.
After 4 days:
Jason reached near gate of Littleroot town. This town was very beautiful, it was in the outskirts of Hoenn Region but safest place in whole region. Jason and his pokemon were tired from this 17 days adventure, though audino was there to help them but increase in training intensity was really tiring for all of them and even Jason who was also training along with them.
Jason went directly to pokemon center and gave his pokemon to nurse there. He took his key and went upstairs to his room, he took a very long and good shower. He walked back to the lobby, it was already night so he planned to meet professor Birch next day. He collected his pokemon and gave them cubes made by him, (Jason now gives his pokemons Cubes mainly and food cooked by him, he don't prefer outside food as those were not good for his pokemon, it was his theory.) He finished his dinner and went upstairs to his room, he fell on bed and slept as soon as he touched bed.
Next Morning, Jason woke up, when he checked time it was already 10, so he stood up from his bed and he along with pokemon had shower and a good massage session for his pokemon from their one and only trainer Jason Wood.
When he walked towards Cafeteria, it was already 12:30, he and his pokemon finished their breakfast and he walked outside to look for Professor's Laboratory. There is no black market in this Town as it comes under Professor Birch and he is student of Professor Oak so no one dare to do any cruel thing here.
After walking for 30 minutes Jason reached near gates of Laboratory. He knocked the door and a 5-6 year old girl with Brown hairs and a red ribbon opened the door, she asked cutely, "Who are you and what do you want ?"
"Hello I am Jason, I wan to meet Professor Birch, is he there." Jason said.
"Dad is in the fields behind Laboratory with professor Oak, come follow me I will take you to him." Said that girl.
'Professor Oak ? wow he is here too ? That will be great.' Thought Jason and he even forgot about the girl who called Professor Birch her dad.
Jason followed the girl for a while and after walking for 10-15 minutes they reached near a spot where a guy in his 30's with Brown hair and specs, and he was in white laboratory coat, he was talking to a guy in early 50's with Slight white hairs and similar Laboratory Coat.
When duo reached there, that girl said, "Dad, this boy wanted to meet you."
They both turned around Jason and the guy with specs who was Professor Birch asked him, "Hello trainer, how may I help you ? If you are here for starter pokemon then wait for today. I am busy today."
Before Jason could react, other person said, "Its ok Birch, you should not make a trainer wait who wants to start their journey."
"But Professor Oak...." Before birch could finish his words Jason interrupted in middle and said, "Sorry to interrupt you professor but I am not here for starter pokemon."
"Then why are you here." Asked Birch in confusion.
"Professor I am Jason Wood from Gao Village and Elite Four Fiona sent me to meet you." Said Jason introducing himself.
"Ohh, you are Jason, yes Fiona told me that you will be coming here and you have some theory about a type which is immune to dragon type." Said Professor birch.
"A type immune to dragon type ? Thats interesting. If you don't mind can I join you both as well in this discussion." Said Professor Oak.
"No problem professor you can come." Said Jason, who won't be happy when some Professor like Professor Oak shows interest in your theory.
"Thank you, ohh and where are my manners, I am Professor Samuel Oak from Pallet Town in Kanto region." Said Professor Oak.
"Everyone knows about you and your intelligence professor." Said Jason.
"No, I am not as they say, I have love towards pokemon so I research and study them." Said Professor Oak and they walked back into the laboratory.
"Sapphire go and tell your mom to bring some snacks for us all." Said professor birch and that little girl whom Jason met earlier ran towards other room, shouting "Mom, Mom"
Jason explained them all about his theory, not completely but gave few details.
"So, what do you want from me ?" Asked Professor Birch.
"I want to join your laboratory and publish my report, as if I do individually then some high profile people can harm me and if I am working with you then no one will dare to steal my research, as this Laboratory is part of Oak Laboratory." Said Jason looking at both.
They both nodded and Professor Oak said, "Yeah he is right Birch, we should give him a chance to prove us, if he pass then we can add him in our laboratory."
