Chương 23: Old Members From High School
Token Black A.K.A. Black Mist is shadow manipulation. He can take control over his shadow to interact with physical objects. Using his shadow he can create several hands to grab anything around him. Due to his grabby shadow hands it is hard to tie him up or restrain him as that wouldn't work with him. He is amazing at hiding as he can suck himself in his own shadow on a surface. He's a tricky one to catch. Heidi caught him off with his strongest emotional weakness, Nicole. Token isn't one for letting his guard down on a battle field but since he is a shadow his true physical weakness would be light all around as no shadow would be cast on his body. He would have no ability to use his power.
Nicole Daniels A.K.A. EverGreen has the ability to controls all plants around her. She was possessed a year ago when she graduated high school. She went missing for the whole year as she was possessed for 6 months, then went into hiding for the remaining 6 months. She grew scared if she would show her face in public, she could easily get possessed again. She remembers all the people she killed while being in control by Heidi. The day Heidi possessed Nicole, she didn't know who she could trust as Heidi WAS her best friend. She uses a bow and arrow as she refuses to use her plants to harm others. He main attack, she pulls roots from the ground as a spike to kill or injury enemies. In Heidi's control, the power was used to impale innocent civilians. The image is mentally scarring as she refuses to use that ability. She gives off a pheromone unnoticeable to humans that can attract animals and cause them to become defensive around her. She grew close with a mountain lion while she was living in the woods for 6 months. The cat that she refers to as 'Bo', warmed up to her as it shows up whenever she's in distress or possibly in danger as she gives off the pheromone for defense. Her physical weakness is her root ability. She has grown so scared to use her ability in defense, without her bow she cant seem to think of a way to protect herself as she doesn't want to kill anyone in fear.
Heidi Turner A.K.A. The Possessor uses her body to merge with and take control of her host that she uses to protect her body that is normally weak and vulnerable. After High School The Manipulator kidnapped her and brainwashed her by constant torture and misery. Testing if he could trust if his puppet was worthy to be his puppet he put the true test into play as he ordered her to possess her best friend, Nicole. After she possessed Nicole she became more broken the longer the months went by and she could hear Nicole getting tortured and suffering through the hell Heidi went through. Heidi grew tired of the constant pain and suffering. One night she snuck to Nicole's cage as she unlocked her shackles. Nicole grew confused as she assumed she was going to be possessed again. However, Heidi had different intentions. She grabbed her ex-best friends hand as she lead her to the exit. When they were near to escaping the Manipulator was stopped them in their tracks as he locked the door. The two grew petrified as they knew they could escape, not with him in the same room. They tried their best to escape but he was on his toes with every action he made. The two were badly beaten as they were desperate to escape. Heidi went through several added torturing sessions to teach her what happens when she tries escaping. He forced the two to watch as his plan was to break the two as if they were insects. The room was filled with screams and begs to stop. The sound was music to the Manipulators ears. Heidi learned she had to kill in order to survive. She was no longer herself. She was a monster. She was the villain. She did whatever it took in order to survive. No matter who she hurt she would do for her new master. She was a trapped soul who didn't ask for this outcome in her life. Her weakness is fear of death, it causes her to act out in ways she shouldn't.
Brittney A.K.A. Angel of Steel is a steel manipulating brutalist. Brittney is a respectable teen who is always looking to pick up a fight with a villain. She treats it as if it's a game to see how many she can take to prison or chase down. She calls it a game of cat and mouse. She has an interesting sense of humor as she doesn't interact with many people except herself. She has been on the run since she graduated high school. Her father was always hard on her as a kid while her mother passed away at a young age. He got in her head saying how she needed to learn to protect herself as the world was a cruel place full of villains and evil. Brittney ran away from home as she was growing tired of her father controlling her life. Brittney had no where to go as she knew was running aimlessly around town. She doesn't go to anyone for help as she made a deal with the police. If she could have a place to stay with them she would take in more villains. They agreed as she proven she wasn't lying. She's very cocky and extremely intimidating as she can put a whole 500 pounds in a single punch. She can form any part of her body to be steel. When her whole body becomes steel she tends to sink through the ground at times. She wonders the town as she makes sure no villains lurk the streets. She keeps on the down low with the other heroes as she only works alone. She doesn't need any distractions. After all she's an unstoppable machine. Her weakness is unknown as she keeps to herself at all times.
