"Laffitte, do you know where Ken went?" asked Celine.
"He went to train in his usual spot."
"But he normally should be back by now, and his Vivre Card is moving in the other direction."
"Hm?" It looked like Laffitte was also surprised by this. "He might have accidentally destroyed that small island and went to find another one. It won't be the first time. Or he just went to do some sightseeing to clear his mind. Trying to find out what goes up in Captain's head is still something I struggle with."
"I just have a bad feeling in my heart, so can you please check up on him."
"You know that I don't mind helping you, Miss Celine, but Captain will get really mad if I intrude on him for no reason."
"Here." Celine handed him a lunchbox she was holding. "Give him this and say that I sent you. He shouldn't have a problem with that."
Laffitte grabbed the lunchbox and did a slight bow. "I'll make sure to get it to him, and I'll let you know if he is doing ok."
"Thank you, Laffitte."
He nodded and disappeared from his place.
'I hope that this bad feeling is just me being worried over nothing.'

"AAAHHH!"
"BOOOOM!"
Screams and explosions could be heard everywhere. A certain person has appeared at New Marineford and suddenly started attacking it. The attacker stopped and looked up at the red sky caused by balls of magma, which were falling towards him. However, with one swing of his sword, all of them got cut in half and fell next to him.
"Azure Ken, how dare you be so brazen here!" screamed Fleet Admiral Sakazuki.
"Sakazuki, just shut up and bring me your head. I'm not in the mood to talk to a lowly dog like you."
"Inugami Guren!"
Akainu creates a wave of magma shaped like a fanged doghead and launches it against Ken. Ken easily cut it in half, which made it explode and cover him with Magma. But it quickly fell off his body, not even burning his clothes or hair. Ken turned around and looked at someone who he feels is slightly familiar, standing behind him with his hand on Ken's back.
"Got you, you bastard!"
Ken's body suddenly started shaking, and he coughed up blood. He quickly kicked the guy behind him away and dodged a magma fist that was about to hit him in the face. Then, he did a backflip, just barely dodging a sword. He looked at haia who swung the sword. He used Haoshoku Haki on her, which made her freeze for a second, and he used that chance to kick her away.
"I see, so you're that brat from the snow island. Are you still pissed about me killing the old man that tried to poison us?"
"Shut up! I Hisaki, Fleet Admiral Sakazuki's disciple will take revenge for my people."
"How cute."
Ken suddenly turned around and started running towards the Marine HQ building. The three looked surprised but quickly ran after him. Ken made his way into the Marine HQ building, and just when the three of them were about to enter, the building exploded. Sending everyone flying back and killing the marine soldiers who were too close to the blast.
As the dust started clearing, Ken walked out of the destroyed building. He looked at Haia, Sakazuki, and Hisaki with an emotionless look.
"Why did you come here and kill everyone! Weren't you always saying that we're the evil ones!" screamed Haia.
"Why do I need a reason to kill scum? And if I'm evil, what about your Fleet Admiral then? He has killed probably more marines than I have. If they are cowards, he'll kill them immediately. I only killed them because they're my enemy, and all of them wouldn't hesitate to cut me down. So isn't my reason more justified? Well, I guess I shouldn't talk about justice with guys that just use that word for their own profit."
"Enough!"
Hisaki suddenly appeared in front of Ken and punched him in the face, but he didn't move a step back. Ken grabbed Hisaki's arm and removed it from his face, aiming it upward before he could use that shockwave attack again.
"So you have a Logia fruit that has to do with soundwaves. You probably used the soundwaves of me talking to appear before me in an instant. That's quite a strong Devil Fruit."
Ken immediately let go of him and jumped to the right, dodging a blast of sound which destroyed the rubble in its path. Ken moved Shusui in front of him and blocked a sword slash from Haia. He jumped up just before the ground under him turned into magma. He slashed forward, clashing with Sakazuki's fist, which sent both of them flying back.
Ken sent a kick backward, which blocked a sword attacking him from behind. Next, Ken used his sword to block another sword coming from his right side. When their sword clashed, the gravity around Ken increased exponentially, which created a crater underneath him. Hisaki appeared in front of Ken, where the gravity suddenly got lower, and he tried to grab him.
"Pathetic."
Ken overpowered the two swordsmen that attacked him and sent them sliding back. He then moved his head to the right, dodging Hisaki's hand. Ken then moved his head forward and smashed it against Hisaki's, which sent him wobbling back. Ken jumped onto a wall that was still barely standing, dodging the attacks of Sakazuki and Haia.
"Admiral Issho and Admiral Ryokugyu, the whole band is finally together. I still remember when you Marine's recruited 3 new Admirals so that you would have 6 Admirals, to fight against me. And now the number is back to 3. How about I lower it even more?"
"Azure Ken, why did you come here and destroy Marineford?" asked Issho.
"What is so weird about a pirate killing marine? You guys wouldn't bat an eye if thousands of pirates died, so why do you care about marines so much? Aren't we all just humans?"
"It's because you bastards commit crimes!" screamed Hisaki.
"So just because someone has committed a crime, you think that it's alright if they die? And you're probably gonna say, 'but what if they killed someone?' That still doesn't give you the right to take another person's life. Taking a life is something a human would never do."
"That sounds hypocritic coming from you," said Issho.
"Why? I never claimed to be human or that what I'm doing is the right thing to do or that it's justified. All I'm doing is following my dream."
"You pirates and that damn dream of becoming the Pirate King is really getting on my nerves," said Sakazuki.
"Pirate King? Nah, I don't care about that title. After all, once I achieve my goal, neither pirates nor marines will exist."
The 5 marines looked shocked at this declaration. But, knowing who this person is and what he is capable of, they didn't dare to take it lightly.
"So what is this dream of yours exactly?" asked Issho.
"Freedom."
