We walk through the city and check the vital points of the defence. The physical ones, not the magic.
Since Julia might deactivate some of the spells without noticing, we don't go too close to the walls. But we can touch weapons without issues.
«You have many bows,» Julia notes, observing the guards getting ready for any attack.
«They're easy to build. And we can make arrows out of many materials, which is suitable for both vampire and human attacks.»
«Have you ever been attacked by vampires?» she inquires, noticing how most of the arrows are indeed made of wood.
«It's the first time we've been attacked by hunters, actually. Vampires have tried getting in many times till now.»
«How many times?»
«They try once every two years. Or at least, they used to try that often. It's the fourth year they stopped. I guess the king is too busy dealing with hunters to pay attention to us.»
«I can make arrows then!» she exclaims.
