Chương 46: Liza: Still in Love

Location : South Korea

Autumn in Seoul is weather at its finest. Cool crisp weather, wet roads painted by fall colours, people in mufflers and long coats, something so aesthetic and calming. A year and six months have passed since I've arrived here in Seoul.

Greeting the tourists and the locals, serving them cakes, helping out Eun oppa at baking and going out for deliveries. This has become my daily routine now. In addition to this I've been learning martial arts and self defence, becoming stronger and stronger everyday, fuelled by revenge against that ma...my father...no murderer.

Olivia still kept contact with me. She was my link to London. Via recently reported that my father was arrested for an accounting scandal.

"He is digging him own grave now Liz. He is in deep shit trouble. The other companies have sued him. They might arrest him soon." Via says from the other end of the line.

"That is not enough. I need to expose him to the world. He is also a murderer Via.... He killed... my mother. He... killed her Via. Revenge is what keeping me alive." I respond.

"Liz, Yo-"

"Aera, can you come down here for a moment." Oppa shouts from the baking room.

"Oh I'm still not used to that new name. Via, I'm hanging up okay. Duty calls. Bye love ya".

"What is it oppa?"

"Get excited."

"Huh?" I ask him puzzled.

"Just get excited." He says smiling.

"In case you haven't noticed. I don't have a tail. I'm not a dog."

"Ahh you're no fun. Okay then, I'll just say it. In about a month we are going to have a wedding conducted here at our bakery." Oppa seemed to be very excited but I couldn't make out if he was faking it though. His eyes seemed to display a contrasting emotion in comparison with his smile.

"Wedding? Here? Huh? What do you mean wedding?I mean who would possibly want their wedding to be held at a bakery? " I ask him confused.

"Hey!!! Kai has the best taste in wedding destinations. What's wrong with our bakery? She's a beauty. Just look at her." Oppa grins.

"Him? Kai?? You're doing all this for him? The cake? The wedding? For him? Are you still in love with him oppa?"

Oppa doesn't respond. I see thousand emotions flood through his face the moment I uttered the word, "Love".

" Love? Haa...that doesn't matter now. Come on we got a long month ahead of us. Chop chop no time to waste."

"Life is a tale told by an idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing". Shakespeare was right. Life is a circle and its unpredictable. You never know where its going to lead you next. It's changing, sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse.
