Benedict's POV
"Lisa is finally home!" Maya's voice surprised me as I was sitting on the patio chair on our terrace, the place where I rejected Lisa. I didn't turn my head since I didn't want my sister to see the expression on my face. I watched the stars in the sky, and I didn't come with my family when they went to the funeral home tonight since I felt so down and sad the last time I paid my respect to Lisa's dad.
The terrace of the Hernandez mansion became my favorite place since Lisa left me with a broken heart and soul. Because from where I was sitting, I could see the fields and the long driveway of our estate going to the archway, and after Lisa left, I was hoping I would be seeing her running on the ground calling my name.
