Chương 80: Red Faction (1)

Artirian smashes the large window and when he did the window would shatter into pieces. It would soon fall on the ground and would make an eerie sound. Then with sudden split-second arrows would start to fly out of the window. He would then grab a collar of a cadet and pull him back before the cadet was hit by an incoming arrow.

"Dock!" Artirain shouted, After that he would ask for a stick and a mirror to make a makeshift peek tool. He would then lift it up and he would see a row of archers aiming at the window. One Archer would notice a mirror and release an arrow hitting the makeshift mirror. The mirror would shatter as it was hit.

Artirian would then grab the last smoke bomb that was inside of his bag that he was carrying. He then looked at Arthur and said with a low tone of voice "Open the door slowly while I throw this inside." Arthur nods after that they would quickly crawl towards the front door of the Mess hall.

When they are both in position Arthur would grab the doorknob and slowly open it. Artirian would then let the smoke bomb roll on the ground and Arthur quickly closes the door. They would hear a loud explosion (BANG!) and then they would open the door and smoke would come out. Artirian would signal a wave and shouts "CHARGE! AND SPREAD OUT!".

The cadets would start to rush inside while raising their makeshift shields and wooden swords. When the cadets entered they would clash with the archers that are waiting inside. Some would be hit by arrows directly and would fall on the ground but some would be able to take down the archers who were still continuing to fire arrows.

"MOVE FASTER! FASTER!" Artirian shouted while directing his arms to attack. While his few men fought their way towards some archers. Some would head towards the rooftop to clear it so that when they fully cleared the building they could easily raise the New faction flag.

Meanwhile on the Blue forces outpost.

"SIR! I WILL BE REPORTING A NEW SIGHT AN INCOMING FORCES FROM THE BLUE FACTION ARE ON THIS WAY!" shouted by a cadet who was the lead scout. When Lt.Shanks heard that report he would then reply " Alright! regroup the forces and fix the defences. We are turning this outpost into one hella fortification. And it will be ours, Placo contact a messenger and send a message to the Faction leader and tell him we need a platoon of reinforcement to increase our manpower and tell him we can only hold for 2 days at max" Placo would nod and calls a messenger.

"The barricades and some wooden spikes would then be turned towards the other side of the road facing the main road. As they know that the faction leader and the other forces have gained control from each of the sides so that they would feel safe as there will be no flanking of enemy forces.

"NUMBER report! There are 300 cadets marching towards us! SIR!" Shanks would hear the report and then said with an assertive tone and confidence "prepare the archers and muskets for support, get ready and raise up the defences. We are not going to surrender with this Blue faction." After what he said he would raise his hand to signal the archers to prepare the archers for a volley of arrows unto the enemy.

Shanks would look at the enemy forces and they were outnumbered 2 to 1 their forces were around only 150 and some were injured and unable to fight. Sanks would grip his sword while the sweat would drip on his face. His looks would be a bit dirty as his armour would be dirtied with the dirt and some hits from the cadets he fought.

"PREPARE ARROWS RAISE!" Shanks focuses on the steps of the enemy to give an order for a good volley of arrows and when Shanks notices a good distance he would put his hands down and the archers would release volleys of arrows. Some musket would be heard firing. "Heh.. take that Blue faction" Lt. Shanks said while putting his wooden sword on his shoulder. The blue forces faction would then be hit by volleys of arrows some would be wounded and killed but few would be able to take up their shields.

"Dammit return fire! Return fire!" Lt. Palen of the Blue forces ordered. Lt. Palen would look at his wounded men and he would see some of them were dead (dead in game) "Argh! FORCE PUSH! CAVALRY UNIT UP FORCE PUSH!" Lt Palen would grab a green flag and raise it Green flag symbolizing a force push which is the order that the cavalry would charge forward. Then when the cavalry unit officer sees it the cavalry unit would trot their horses as their wooden swords would be raised and their helmet would be put down. The forces of the new factions would feel the vibration on the ground and then they would look up and would see a unit of cavalry that is charging straight at the defenses.

"CAVALRY APPROACHING!' shouted by a cadet. " MUSKET GET READY FOR A STAGGERED VOLLEY! LINE 1 READY! FIRE!" shouted by the Musket squad leader "LINE 2 PREPARE! FIRE!" As the muskets fired bullets after bullet the cavalry unit would get pinned down upon with bullets. they would be hit by colored bullets that were fired, some knights that were hit would halt their horses and turn around some would just halt on their position and inside their helmets they would cry.

As the cavalry unit clashed with the first defenses of the outpost the horses would be stopped with the spikes. That is why the cavalry knights would have no choice but to hop down and charge forward. The knights that survived the volley are around 30 and they would clash onto 40 cadets that were armed with wooden swords and supported by a row of muskets and archers.

"FIRE!" Soon a volley of arrows came down on the cadets and some would be hit and be knocked to the ground "MEDIC!" shouted by a cadet that was a slight injured "Move! Move! Move!" Shouted by a medic that was running towards the wounded cadet.

In the midst of the clash, the medic would be giving first aid onto the cadet. Then a Knight would suddenly appear would be bearing down the wooden sword on the medics back. Soon the medic was knocked. But the cadet would then grab his wooden sword and throw it directly on the knight helmet and it would give a sound ( CLANG) then the knight would kneel in front and drop on the ground. "MEDIC!"

"We need reinforcement on the 1st defences!" shouted by a squad leader who was exchanging swords with a knight. then Lt. Shanks would shout at them "CREATE 6 man team circle formation to reduce casualties!" soon another wave of cadets coming from the blue forces.

Meanwhile on the Mess hall building.

Artirian would clash a sword with one of the archers that had earlier hit a cadet on the chest knocking the cadet on the ground. Artirian would be exchanging continuous blows but Artirian would see a wide opening below the archer he would jolt his body forward dodging the first few swings of the archer and then thrust the wooden sword straight hitting the archer on the chest. While a follow up of a head kick on the archers head. The Archers body would then twist before dropping on the ground.

"Artirian we are going to the next floor of the mess hall to check and verify if there are some cadet who tried to escape" Arthur said while trying to dodge some swings from an archer. Artirian smirks "Sure do your best on clearing the whole building". Arthur would then stoop forward jolting his body and then slashing at the archers left rib making the archer feel an excruciating pain followed by a straight kick on the back leg.

Making the archer kneel then Arthur would kick the archer back making the archer drop on the ground and be pushed forward a few meters. The Archers body would slam on the door and would be unconscious.

"Are we done here?" He said while gasping for air his face would be full of sweat and some was dripping. Arthur would look at him and said "Alright! I'll be getting going then" Arthur would pick a few men and head upstairs.

As Artirian was resting a messenger came in. the Messenger saluted Artirian and then said the message. Artirian would grab his sword and take a platoon of men with him Artirian would then left a cadet to inform Artirian. He then looks back at the messenger and orders "contact the forces at the red outpost and tell them to not let any red forces cadet slip by or we will get flanked." the messenger saluted and hurriedly hops on the horse and goes straight towards the direction of the red forces outpost.
