"Three....the little red lotus," He whispered in a secretive way.
"The lotus?" she frowned.
"Yes, yes....you know the private pond that nobody is allowed there. It disappeared just a few months ago...you know just when you enter the Ocean of bliss palace. The white lotus pond use to have one since bright blood red lotus,"
"What is so special about that lotus?" she was completely engrossed.
"It has a story...but nobody knows it. Everybody just speculates but I know this...it is from the time when the First Lord even before unified all the realms or...became the heavenly lord...."
"That seems a long time ago....what could be so special about it?" She mused.
" It was before I was born...Do you know the story when the heavens were about to collapse?" Ming Zhu asked.
"Not really?" She never heard the actual story just knew that The First Lord had to do something with it.
"I will tell you, it's not even in the history books only the very secret historical records of the Nine Heavens have it... It was the time when the First Lord was just the Dong Hai from the Ocean Of bliss. Evil had overpowered the universe, the demonic energies were at peak and The Father of the God with his son, High God Guan Yu went to the ocean of bliss to meet the High God they all use to hear about, Dong Hai who is immune to evil or the good, he neither god nor a demon, The Father of Gods wanted him to save the heavens from collapsing. He was the only one whos powers were intact in that chaos. It was said he refused but then....somehow he accepted and when the demonic energy climbed, the cold and darkness cover the whole heaven, and it was about to collapse into the Mortal Realm. The First Lord took a form so huge...so huge that his feet were on the earth of the Mortal Realm and his shoulder was carrying the heavens,"
Hong Liu was hearing all of this wide eye, mesmerized by the story.
"And then he restores the heavens, the whole celestial realm back using his life worth of cultivation. Making him reduce to the normal immortal without any cultivation and he...."
"He what?"
"Disappeared," He stated.
"Disappeared?"
"Yes and when he emerged back, it is written that he comes back with that single red lotus and it never withered away and after the war with the Demon King, he was Crowned King of the Universe." He ended the story.
"So you see, some people think its the store of his ultimate power,"
"What now after it disappeared?" Hong Liu asked worriedly.
"You don't need to worry your highness, I can hardly think that the lotus was the reason of his power however I know it was really special, now since it's gone he still goes there staring at the empty space in the centre where the lotus used to be, It must have to do with the fact he found it when he first saves the universe and his journey to be the First Lord of the Universe started... well that's my observation,"
What is so special about the one single red lotus....? Hong Liu thought.
Where it disappeared? it's definitely special if she could find it get It back. It will make him happy.
"Do you know anything about how to get it back?" She asked
"Trust me when I found courage enough to ask about the lotus disappearance because everybody was an edge and the icy chill because It seems to never go in the ocean of bliss palace. He said, 'something just exists to return to its original form, Ming Zhu' I didn't understand what that means and his mood change after you woke up," He said.
"Changed how?" She asked a little bit excited.
"Well..he got distracted, your safety is important to all of the realms considering your status. If anything happened to you. The army of the ancient green forest will be in front of the Nine Heavens and he doesn't want to get out his retirement any time soon, " He said bitting down on the fourth piece of cakes.
"Is that all he cares about?" She rubs the back of her neck, disappointed.
"Your Highness, I am afraid you have collided with rock there is nothing that can be done about First Lord, without the motivation of danger to the realms. He is just an old god who should be hung like a portrait, "
"How can that be?" this conversation was doing nothing for her. Just telling her that she will face failure on this path.
"He voids of any emotion or desires and there is nothing that can be done about it, "
Hong Liu sigh as the Fate Lord wobble back in a comfortable position and a pair of copper bells fall out of his sleeves.
