Amid an endless void, two orbs of light were floating next to each other. The only sources of light in this endless abyss, like stars in the night sky.
That is what the ordinary person would see, but the two orbs were actually conversing while enjoying some tea and cake. Insubstantial as the refreshments were, they made conversing more relaxed and enjoyable.
"Are you sure spending so much time on a single human is worth it?" The one asked, from a far her light appeared a hinge of violet, owing to her violet hair. A bright shade of purple that would turn head wherever she went.
"I know you and the others think little of them, but they aren't monsters."
"Of course not. They are merely human." These words were spoken not in mocking or disdain, but in simple unemotional truth. "They are mortal. What is the point of wasting time teaching one of them?"
Shorter chapter, but felt this was the natural point to end it at.
