Chương 953: Destiny and Ji Yuan

Destiny had suddenly slammed the table with her hand and she was saying unhappily as she stared coldly at Ji Yuan, "Why am I not inside the painting?"

Not only was Ji Yuan startled by the sudden disruption to the jovial mood but all the divine consorts and everyone else was also startled too. 

Immediately the jovial chattering had died down as everyone was looking curiously at Ji Yuan and their Great Oracle.

Ji Yuan had actually asked Xiao Muhan to draw two copies of the same painting; one for himself of course and the other for the divine consorts. The one for himself was of course for his own guilt pleasure. 

Xiao Muhan had asked him repeatedly, "Are you sure that you want me to draw it this way? Great Divine Consort Xu Yifei has a higher noble rank than you. Shouldn't she be in the middle instead of you? The way you want me to paint you in the center sounds like you are their lord instead. Aren't you afraid that they may be angry with you?"
