As the explosion went up, Arnold's eyes lit up simultaneously. He had been waiting for this to happen and it finally did. The syndicate had begun its attack on the Lizardmen. 

"Well done, Talos," Arnold mumbled while slicing off yet another one of Devon's pawns in half. Arnold knew it was Talos and the syndicate as the explosion was the signal Arnold had wanted Talos to use. He had also given him a ton of fiery grenades for the same purpose. 

The so-called elite guards were frightened out of their wits. They had no idea someone as monstrous as Arnold could even exist in their world. That realisation coupled with the explosion was enough to make them crap themselves. However, they quickly regained their composure. They were trained to be the best of the best, and they would not back down. Not until their last breath.
