Chương 5: Chapter 4
( This is the continuation of chapter 3)
After two weeks of reviewing all the things Clein knew about mana, they are now in the center of the forest where Clein went after breaking through the first stage of qi condensation.
This is the start of the real training that Clein will totally experience. In those two weeks, he started training his physic according to Erik's instructions.
In the morning at exactly four in the morning, he have to do 100 push ups, pull ups, sit ups, running three miles then eating his breakfast.
Sounds not so hard for Clein? nope it's not, Erik had put a seal to restrict mana in kyle's body. Meaning, Clein can oly use his body to train, then again, how about his qi?
Clein also sealed his qi, because he doesn't want anyone to know about it. This may cause something unexpected for his family and he doesn't want to attract any unnecessary attention.
And also, his mana is sealed so his qi will be exposed and that is what he don't want anyone to know, this is also a trump card and he needs to make sure to hide it.
So back to the exercise, everyday, another exercise is added until the end of the first week and in the second week, the numbers of push ups and the other physical exercise is doubled until the end of the second week.
Clein can do all the exercises that is added in the first week because he broke through the first qi condensation stage which also made his body three times more stronger than a normal adult but when every count are doubled everyday, he felt that he would die, and if he can't go on, Erik will heal him and then he will do it again and again and again and again.
Erik had a smile on his face, this smile makes him like a gentleman who is so kind. But for Clein, this smile is of the devil, this smile means another plan is being formulated to torture...(ahem)....tutor him.
Erik: You had a good foundation, your body is strong eneough. Now after the two weeks of adapting to physical exercises, (with a smile/grin) the start of the real lessons will be done now.
Clein's don't know what to say, all the hardships for the past two weeks is just for adapting his body to exercise?!
Before Clein could speak a word, Erik speak again
Erik: I will unseal your mana.
Clein:huh?! (confuse)
Erik: It is for you to do this ......
Erik use his mana and draw a circle infront of him through the tip of his fingers. The mana in the shape of circle moved around his body.
Forming mana in the shape of circle is easy, Clein had question marks on his head thinking that hs uncle/teacher is going easy on him but the next words of Erik made him see the real face of a demon.
Erik: you will be doing this everyday while you do all exercises that you did before and after everday, you willdouble the numbers of this circle. But no worries, i won't add any numbers again on your exercises, afterall i am your loving uncle
Clein didn't believe him and his hunch prove him right.
Erik: only five hundred counts of exercise every on every stance....
Clein knew it,but what can he do, he knew not to talk because this uncle of his will just use his words to add another set of exercise.
Days, weeks and two months passed, the same routine happened all over again.
Lania is just observing the two, she doesn't know what his brother is planning. She is worried for her son but she believes her brother, but this kind of exercise will break the body and exhaust Clein's mana.
All the maids and guards are also watching them, some are even doubting, what kind of exercise are this, for a normal adult, this kind of exercise is hard eneough that they don't know if they can persevere.
Even them who are well trained in the military academy knew that this kind of training is not for a kid like Clein, a six years old boy, even if he is a genius.
Everyday, Clein would suffer broken bones and muscles, exhausted mana and so on. But, Erik's healing magic always put him on the peak, his mana is recovering though by using mana potion.
At night, Clein would be doing his meditation, not using his mana, but using his qi, he never neglected his qi training, and because of the changes in his body, he is nearing the second stage of his qi condensation stage.
The question that Clein is pondering right now is how can he hide this to his uncle who is always with him everyday.
Thankfully, his uncle would have to go in somewhere. The school where is teaching had a mission that he needs to do.
Clein is nearing the peak of first stage of his qi condensation. After three months, he can not suppress his breakthrough anymore.
So a week before Erik do his mission, he gave a new training manual to Clein.
Erik: After almost three months of building the foundation of your mana and body, you will have to start to cultivate your mana and body through this new manual.
Clein: What mana is that Teacher?
Yeah, you know right, this time, he have to address Erik s teacher, Erik had truly accepted him as his student.
For the past months, Erik is just building Clein's foundation, his knowledge is on par with him when he is ten years old, this shows that his nephew is a genius like him and he is more of a genius than him.
Erik: This is a training manual that you can train until the level of white magi realm. You need to have both your mana and body stronger, this kind of manual is a mid tier level manual for a low level magi.
Being silent for a moment, Erik said something that even clein was shocked.
Erik: Actually, you can become a magi and a weapon mage at the same time. Remember that mana is the base of every existence, so there is no division at all, it is just that, humans made those divisions to make the progress of warriors faster, we are totally not in the peace.
Clein: What do you mean teacher?
Erik: It is too early for you to know, i gave you that manual so that you can become a real majister, not a magi or a weapon mage but a majister. When i come back, you should be in the white magi stage, it will take atleast four months for me to finish my mission, just work hard.
Clein nodded, he knew that there are things that he is not qualified to know right now.
He knew that what his uncle want him to do is to never neglect his training and work more harder.
Clein: ( maybe the reason why uncle said this to me is because the time is precious and something big will happen)
Even if Clein received a desciple in his past life, it doesn't mean that here in this world, he can become one without knowing anything about this world.
In his past life, he travelled a lot and fought many wars, he is a seasoned warrior, but here, he is just and ignorant brat, he knew this all well.
His eyes was opened by his uncle, he realize that he have an average talent, it hurts but he knew that he have to work harder than anyone else.
Erik: Before i go, i will be giving you one last exercise to do once every two weeks. This is the air step, one of my own skill that i developed.
Erik then step into the air like there is a ground.
Clein: how?
Then erik showed Clein the materialize mana under his feet.
Clein saw how the mana under Erik's feet materialized.
Erik: when you reach a certain level, the mana that you materialize will blend to the air itself that it will look like i am stepping to air itself.
Erik controlled the mana in the ground and Created a steel pole, then he jumped in the pole and materialze a mana tile where he step in and then materialize another one above it where he step again then he said to Clein.
Erik: you will follow my example and materialize a solid mana. this is harder than just making a mana projection, this is a real solid mana. The exercise you go through will make it more easier for you to learn this.
Clein nodded and tried to materialize a solid mana tile but after a second, it will be destroyed, after a week of training, he can maintain that for five minutes, showing his fast progress.
So this is the day that Erik had to go temporarily. Everyone is infront of the gate and saying their goodbyes for now. Clein bowed to Erik and hugged him, Lania also hugged her brother and bid him a safe trip.
After Erik's temporary departure, Clein is preparing to breakthrough the next level of qi condensation.

Erik's POv:
"Haist, i have to finish this fast, Clein's progress is so fast, thankfully i made his foundation stronger, he is totally smarter than i am but the experiences he have limits his potential."
????: hahahha, ;he is same to you, both reckless and your wills are both stronger than almost everyone i know.
A woman voice is heard inside the carriage.
Erik: Back to the mission, who will we hunt now?
????: It is D8, the leader of Dark Ace Organization, they killed Viscount Keil of the Rasur Kingdom.
Erik: ( narrowing his eyes with a glint of coldness, then he look outside while muttering something.)
