Tang Yue was clearly not on her knees and not begging, but the woman enunciated the words to make sure that she got the hint.

Tang Yue, however, stood still. She absolutely had no intention of kneeling or begging.

She sighed helplessly and shook her head. She now knew that she had no other choice.

It didn't matter that she wanted to avoid unnecessary conflict.

Clearly, the other party was hell bent on seeking death.

Just how much can a person try and reason with an idiot? 

They neither understood logic nor understood consequences. It was just a waste of time.
