"So tomorrow you'll come?" Lysandra asked. It was the day after her conversation with Ismene, and she perched on the windowsill of Cale's studio, looking on the front room where he Recoded memories. She had asked him about his meeting with Ismene at the Ferry estate.
"I'll try," Cale answered.
"Can you find your way there?"
"I believe so."
Lysandra's eyes drifted to the chair where she had sat so many times, some of those times for Recoding and some simply because she needed a place to sit. It hadn't changed. "So, has business been okay?" she asked Cale.
"Okay at best," Cale answered. "A few more people than usual have come in. Some of them asked about my role in the story that's been all over the newspapers, but other than that no one seems to know about it."
