The world is full of surprises, miracles are happening all the time! The single question is: are you willing to open your eyes and let yourself free, or will you stay closed in your little shell, hidden from the rest of the world?
If you are prepared to open the gate of your fortress and see the world whit all it's sides, who knows what awaits you as you turn around to see the other side.
Who would think that after lots of tragic stories, after you experience all the rotten truths in this world, you will still be able to smile? "It's impossible" one would say. However, even if that happens there are some people who will still smile, will be happy for all the little things, which one would consider plane, puerile, childish.
"So are you ready to get out of your shell, little one?" He asked, on a sweet calming voice.
"Y-Yes, mister." The boy replied whit an ounce of uncertainty. "But where should I start, grandpa?"
"Oh, little one, you will know when the time comes." The man said whit a smile on his face.
"Luck, hey, Luck." A feminine voice shouted from the back. "Come now, it is time for us to go home. Say goodbye to grandpa!"
"I am coming, Mama! Goodbye, grandpa. See you." Luck said while running.
The old man stands watching as they got farther and farther away. "What an energetic kid." He whispered to himself.
A few hours later.
"Hey, master Luck, I came to tell you that the dinner is ready. If you would like to come and eat."
"Of course Marie, I would like to." The boy said as he left the book on the desk and stood up.
"If you don't mind me asking, what were you reading yang master?"
"Well, Marie, it was a book about the adventures of a Lord who falls in love whit a commoner." Luck said as he lucked to the big windows of the palace as he was dreaming about it.
At the dinner table, the entire family was gathered. At the front of the table staid Lord Marcus, his wife, Ellen, at his right. At his left was staying the young Lord David, the oldest son, whit Lord Luck beside him and the youngest brother, Lord Michael, staid at his mother's right side.
"Oh, I forgot to tell you, tomorrow a great friend of mine will come to visit us." Lord Marcus said as they were eating. "A Lord from the near town of Darlian. His name is Daniel. He will come in the afternoon, whit his wife Melinda and his daughter Sasha." He added. "Marie, be sure to prepare everything so our guests would feel welcomed."
"Of course my Lord. Everything will be ready for their arrival." Marie said.
"Oh, darling, isn't Daniel's daughter the same age as our Luck?" Lady Ellen asked.
"Well dear, she is a year younger than him, she is turning 12 next month." The Lord said whit a spark in his eyes. But he stayed quiet for the rest of the dinner, really glancing at the young boy as he ate.
