I hurriedly peeked a little through the windows, the rain had stopped, and the sun already set. The townspeople were all standing on the street, asking the nearest Epsilon about the current status of the kingdom. Wolves with Gammas were now walking down the street, sweeping the area.

Some of them are frightened and angry. Some demand to know what caused the attack, while others begin to fortify their homes against future threats.

"We need to find that bloodhound and kill it before it attacks again," a gamma says, his voice filled with determination.

Closing the window as I smelled the leather musk of the knights. My back against the wooden panel, thinking where did it all begin?

Why me? Of all the people in that attack, why me, us?

I couldn't bring myself to cry with the loss of my parents. I'm sure they're still alive since my bond is weakened, I still have someone to attach to.
